How incredibly kind, generous and gracious of both Ms. Denby and Mr. Sullivan to make / take the time to phone you. I am over the moon, thrilled you didn't erase their lovely, warm, wonderful message. What a gift that phone call must've felt like, been. Thanks for sharing the special moment / gift, with those of us who love and treasure everything Justin & Joolz, and these truly moving, meaningful, small-yet-grand gestures both of them have been known to offer, share, give, extend to folk over the years. How beautiful. Truly. Thank you. Every one of you.

It meant a lot to me then and still does. Joolz also sent me a very touching letter in 1988 which I still have. I was lucky to see her perform once, see NMA about 6 times (and got to open for them in 2008 when my own band was the support for their show in Brooklyn), and interviewed Justin twice (1987 and 1993; I will be posting both of those tapes soon).
