Great video! Please share more helmets so I can learn from it ;) Any pro tips on the Speed and how to put back the valves through the holes? My finger always hurt several days when I had to assemble that beast... Speedflex is a blast for assembly and cleaning though. Which is the "easiest" helmet to assemble from your POV?

are you required to put the black pocket thing over the pads in the crown of the helmet? It really just is a thin layer of that soft material. i took it out to give me a little more room, and it still feels just fine, also when ordering new jaw pads, do you have to order them both seperately for 35 dollars each or do they both come at once for just 35?

The lining keeps your padding clean by preventing sweat from getting deep into your helmet and it keeps the padding stable inside your helmet. Jaw pads are sold separately

A little late, but the clear clips are straps or loop straps, and the ones that go inside are the receptacles for the quick releases

Any tips for putting decals, especially stripes, onto an f7?

You need to decide if you’re going to cut the decals or leave it over the cutouts. If you do, I suggest laying it down nice and flat starting from the back ending at the front and then taking a sharp blade in slowly and carefully cutting out your lines

I work at Riddell. I do the snaps and grommets as well as Velcro, I do all the models by far the worst is speedflex Diamond’s due to the back bumper on that particular model being stubborn when screwing in .

The padding that comes in the helmet is made specifically for that helmet, but i'm sure there are ways to upgrade the padding, or at least have it replaced.

You should be able to put air in it from the valve on the outside, the air pump will reach the padding from there.
