So, power of manifestation is a real thing.. I watched this video about two weeks ago, mentally put it on my list of all the things I need, and immediately added all the required materials to my amazon cart. I have left the window open this whole time, as well as the website for those shelves!! Without hubby even knowing this was the shelf i wanted, he went and bought it for me for our anniversary yesterday!! I was legit almost crying.. and then showed him all the windows i had open for this exact project!!! He had no idea this was what I had planned, just saw the shelf on sale and thought I'd love it! Looks like i'll be getting busy over the next few weeks!!! Thank you soooo much for sharing your process on this project and all the materials you used!! I love this! And, you have included the shopping list. Shopping at IKEA is overwhelming most days. I have several pieces in my sewing studio. Now I can make a couple indoor greenhouses! I love all my carnivorous plants. I can now make my bog and still go on a vacation and not stress the whole time about my babies. Thank you!

Man I wish I had that video a month ago when I had to figure out how to set up my own Milsbo. I overbought monstera leaf shelves because I wasn’t sure what I need and they are so so cute. Anyway, now that my Alocasia Milsbo is full i realized I’ll need a second Milsbo and glad I already have all the extra shelves. I used a light meter and decided I need more barrina lights in there so I attached more on top and on the sides. Currently having it in my bedroom and when the timer goes on in the morning i feel like a deer in the headlights 😂 but anyway after not doing anything for so long within a week all my Alocasias got babies and I’m so excited. The Milsbo looks so pretty. But be prepared, it literally screams at you “go,get more plants”. At least mine does and who am I to disobey it’s wishes 😂 so off to the store Ps: have you looked at the metal mini greenhouses from ikea? They are so pretty next to the Milsbo. Got 2, attached some barrinas and use one for succulents and one for propagations

When using any adhesive stuff like the weather stripping stuff, pro tip lol use a hair dryer on hot to warm the sticky side up a bit as you go. It will allow the adhesive create a better seal/stick and will do better. I do this all the time and makes adhesive alot stronger as well regardless of what your sticking shad item too.

If you need to stick anything, alien tape is the way to go. Rver's use it all the time. Truly amazing stuff, don't know what I did before it. Actually, I do know, I struggled!

Thanks for the cable concealer link! I know cord management can be exhausting work. I've used heavy-duty double sided tape with smaller cable concealers, but adding magnets on the back of yours may work too. Your cabinet turned out incredible!

Yours looks great! I just built mine in black. We got the exact same package from modern aqua! I need to add two more fans, though, and I put two Soltech Grove lights. I kind of wish that I had used Barrinas, but I can still change them out. I think the Barrina puts out more light.

What is the light quality of the Barrina lights you used? I’m thinking of making my own cabinet but I don’t want some intense blue light glowing from the cabinet.
