May I just say what an absolute treasure this channel is, I recommend you to everyone that plays guitar! This lesson is another invaluable resource as I strive to keep expanding my repertoire. I really hope to see more folk music in the future esp from the British Isles, English Celtic and otherwise :D

Thanks a lot Nicholas, very pleased you like the lessons. I'm sure they'll be some folky stuff to come at some point.

Honestly, whenever I see your new video on my feed, even if I'm learning some other song, I just come to the video and like. Because this channel is really helpful.

That second fret pull-off on the E string during the c chord sounds wrong sounds wrong. I think it should be a 1st fret pulloff instead
@aztechproductions51463 жыл бұрын
Yeah it is, its a 1 semi-tone interval instead of two on that bit
@SixStringFingerpicking3 жыл бұрын
Controversial, some people play it as I have and others play it on the first fret. Play it as you wish.

Hi again. I have a problem here. I definitely can't stretch over 4 frets as you do @4:31 can I replace it with another combination? Thanks Chris 🎶🎶🎶
@naylord53 жыл бұрын
The secret to achieve this is get your elbow the closest you can to your stomach, and you will be able to put the pinky on that 4 fret. Hope this helps!

U don’t need to fret the entire E chord shape..just fret the strings u wanna play..worst case just pluck individual notes but you lose sustain of the previous plucked notes 😁 normally I will break down stretchy chord for best positioning..

awesome tutorial, but you say fifth play the sixth string, and cannot see exactly which string you are holding or hammering on ..
@transformer8893 жыл бұрын
Chords are fine but what string should be played is totally left to memory, I hope there was more depth as to why., thank you for posting I appreciate the lesson.
