in North India it is called alu-tikki .they add more green chilly with rice powder to boiled potato and coriander and fry in oil . however i make it like uthappa with less oil .you can add jeera powder coriander powder chilly powder cornflour or arrowroot asper taste. it is delicious.

Quizás con menos, porque al dejar las patatas cortadas en remojo, no solo pierden el almidón, pierden también todas las sustancias interesantes de las patatas solubles en agua, entre ellas la vitamina C y las del grupo B y los minerales como el calcio, el magnesio y sobre todo el potasio. Se solubilizarán en esta agua y se perderán. En resumen, mucho tiempo y poco valor nutritivo. Pero seguro que están muy ricas
