How many times did you save Jay by getting him in rehab and taking care of him so that eventually he meets Jordan. Then in your moment of need, who is there? Jordan. The positivity you have sowed is amazing. It makes you wonder, what the world would be like if Bob Dylan or civil rights leaders such as MLK Jr was never here, or Muhammed Ali, or revolutionary guys like Che Guevera, & John Lennon, even Tupac Shakur was never here. While so different from each other, they were all so beyond passionate in their craft, beliefs and fought for them no matter what the critical consequences were and it's for that reason that, people cannot turn away from his brilliance and LISTEN. Hey Kevin. Not sure if you actually read these; but Im going to be one of those weirdos who shares too much publicly. I'm 40 and survived a massive heart attack 9 months ago. My occlusion was in the RDA though. Either way; the experience is crazy and the angio and stent saved my life too. I also felt hella weird having my groin shaved - my cardiologist ended up using the artery in my arm in the end. The good news i try and concentrate on is that I'm here for my daughter.( I always think it's weird when people pour out to strangers but...) I went through the same battle and i want to encourage you to talk about it. It's refreshing to hear someone else say they felt the same things I felt and you might save someone's life by talking about how subtle the symptoms can be (except that profuse sweating that was terrible) I remember telling one of my friends that I was ok if I didn't make it; the lack of nervousness about dying was strange. The morphine might have had something to do with that. I'm rambling. Either way there's a lot of good work left for you to do! Good luck with your recovery and from a fan and fellow survivor; take the pills and follow the Drs orders. You have a lot of time left!

I had my first heart attack was at 54 and like you I thought I had eaten something bad. The difference is I waited three days with waves of stomach pains before I got a shooting pain down my left arm and the light bulb went on. I drove to the hospital and went to the front of the line when I explained my symptoms. Two stints later (with the groin shaving) I am amazed how well I am doing. The staff was fantastic and the Doctors were flabbergasted I had waited three days as my heart was dying for those 72 hours. Modern medicine and a whole new appreciation for life has allowed me these years after in relatively good health with my hand full of medications I now using daily. So glad you too have emerged with stints and life still ahead. Time to enjoy the ride and with that new appreciation of life. Welcome to the club.

My great-grandmother did the same thing. I was born in '82 and she quit when my sister was born in '85. She died 2 years ago at 99. She got an extra 30 years with us, and all the rest of her great-grandkids.

You don't have my permission to die! You are my inspiration man. When I manage to produce my own movie then you have my permission to die! So glad you're okay! I had a massive heart attack at 37 (two years ago) and I had no idea it was a heart attack. I had no chest pains and thought I had severe muscle ache from overdoing it at the gym. I went to the doctor's almost 24 hours later. They went through my wrist to my heart to clear the path so I was spared groin shaving. You work out 5 times a week, eat healthy and then it just hits you. It's so indiscriminate. Piece of my heart actually stopped pumping. But since I was in the Weapon X programme it recovered couple of months later. You take care man. It's an experience I'd rather never had and care not to repeat.
