couldnt agree more. as good as it gets, with his own unique style. have always been astonished at his phrasing and melody.

If you ask me, he is above them. Greg Howe is great at shred, melodic playing, phrasing AND can play amazingly well in almost any genre he chooses to, funk, jazz, metal, rock, doesn't matter which one you choose, this guy can do it. I am never bored when i listen to him playing. He is on par with Guthrie Govan.

Leaving a comment here since I can't leave one on the video you just posted 1/27/23. I still have your Ascend album with your signature and message on the cover from about 23 years ago when you did a show at the Tone Zone in Summerville, SC. Maybe you were there with Michael Angelo Batio as well or could have been separate occasions. Anyway, sounding good! I tried to hunt down Sly Harris for a while but couldn't find him. He was a great teacher. Was thinking about playing again. Still enjoy the old album! Keep it up

0:47 was cool. You did a slide vibrato with a bend I think. You would like my playing. I’m too stressed to be chillin to be melodic all of the time but you’ll respect the countless hours of studying.

I've been using the Vega trem for two years and it's the best unit I've seen since Levinson's Blade RH-4 tremolo. The smoothness of the Vega reminds me of a Kahler flat mount and Greg is correct about the fatness that the tremolo seems to create. I don't know why it does that especially considering its diminutive size but my superstrat immediately sounded better once I replaced it's original tremolo with the Vega. I highly recommend it .

wait.... Greg Howe has only 49K subs? Howe? uh, I mean, how? I have 300K. ??? I just sang a few songs and people started freaking out. I'm not even a singer. I'm more of a guitarist but I guess all that "The Voice" crap makes people think singing is the pinnacle of what should be admired. This jam was really smooth. Greg Howe, I was there in the DAY when your instructional vid came out. With the wacky dude at the start? I just remember seeing all those vids at the music store. I never had time to learn anything from them but I remember them.
