Love you always from Monterey Bay. You rocked the world baby! I listen to him or think of him every day and it ignites my willingness to practice. I'll never be great but its about tapping into your instinct and now I have a musical family. Life changing. As the Stones song says "You keep me rocking"! All my family passed and we have a solid music scene out here so its very healing to have a home in the music particularly if your a girl.

This interview with Stevie Ray Vaughan is on my oldest son's birthday..happy to hear whatever Stevie has to to say about performing with his guitar and vocal cords....But..as we all know Stevie was killed on a helicopter crash and that leaves me feeling grief stricken..RIP Stevie

He is was a picture of humbleness and manners, siuthern gentleman. His mama did a great job on both those things shaping him into the man he had become. God bless him for overcoming his drug and alcohol addiction and conquering those demons. Nothing but love for this man, miss him being here still. ❤

He rarely throws out Doyle's name in public interviews, yet he was Stevie's co-writing brother from back in the hood. We can even hear a bit of Doyle's vocal phrasing on every SRV album.

Thankfully I caught him live, on tour, 5 times; from their Texas Flood Tour, opening for the Moody Blues, to his final one, co-headlining with Joe Cocker. This is early ‘87, you can see in his eyes that he was still using. It was great to know he beat that monkey…swinging clean & mean, at the end‼️

The beginning of Stevie Ray Vaughan was a young age while still a child organizing what lay ahead for his older years even in his mind..A guitar legend of Blue's and Rock n roll that led Stevie to be that of what he became in time and lots of gigs and hanging out at clubs and .eating so.e of the Ole time greats..Stevie Ray,Vaughan got a band of Double Trouble and they toured and were successful and drugs took a toll on Stevie in which he was so sick he had to get clean to live..so..Stevie gave up drugs and alcohol and beco.e greater on stage then he was..The guitar was putting out .ore rhythm and melody and things got a lot better inside for Stevie Ray Vaughan..He got award for best musician and guitar player and had a few songs he had written and become hits..His life had a turn around for the better and then leaving the resort of jamming with other musicians that fatal night..Stevie boarded a helicopter back to Chicago and it crashed into a ski cliff and killed all aboard..Stevie Ray Vaughan lived a short life but what a .usic legend in such a short time..He left his .usic legacy and his .usic fame lived on..Stevie was the best on a guitar and the fans around the world admired Stevie for having his career as good as it was and him so young that he will always be in our me.ories and what a legacy..No telling what. Stevie Ray Vaughan would have achieved if he had I've to further his music world ..loved by all his fans..

He's sorely missed.. they are one in a million! There's still no one to come along and take the spot light!? This is a problem in the music world.. despite the pandemic. Music's gone to hell these days.. don't even have to give it a minute of attention to tell that.. it's garbage! almost 8 billion people on the planet.. they have to be out there somewhere? Originality, creativity, soul and talent.. where the hell is it?
