if you spent any time in Hollywood you'd understand it. Hwood is a weird paradigm. Well, one has to give Paul Rudd respect for first actually naming Jesus Christ as the person he wants to talk to, second he acknowledged Jesus is real. Him asking Jesus “what’s the deal” is just a trendy way to say “explain to me”. I think the other two just laughed because that’s probably the name they only hear as a by word and not as an actual person in history they want to talk to. Instead of criticizing them, pray for them!!! I know I’ll never meet them, but I’ll pray that God will send people in each of their lives who truly have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord. Godly people filled with true Godly love who can show them the love of God, but not condemn them because they don’t know they have a Savior in Jesus who paid the ultimate price to give them eternal life and all they need to do is believe and accept Jesus. The Holy Spirit will guide them to repent, seek His Word and live the life God intends for them. I’ll pray their eyes, mind and hearts will be open to receive the Gospel of salvation through Jesus. If we who believe would all pray for them, think of how God could use them to reach others in their current careers for our Lord. Pray!!!

This clip with Paul Rudd seated between the two young adults brought to my mind the Crucifixion. Jesus was not the only one crucified on Good Friday, he was flanked on either side by two common thieves. As I understand it both thieves at the beginning mocked Jesus along with many of the by-standers. Then one of the thieves had an epiphany and implored Jesus to "remember me when You come into Your Kingdom". Which Jesus', through His divine Mercy did grant saying "on this day you will be in Paradise!" Christian tradition often refers to the "good thief" as Dismas, which to my ear sounds to me like dismiss. So it's my hope that on my day of judgement I will hear that the case against me has been Dismas/dismiss-ed!

God created us for the sole purpose of entering into a relationship with Him. God's covenant with man changed over centuries, providing us with enough evidence for us to see we can never be enough, do enough, to hold up our end of the agreement. Only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and a spiritual rebirth can we be made righteous enough for a relationship with God.

Christians are currently being given the same opportunity in regards to sitting on David's throne with Christ in God's Kingdom if they overcome Satan. To say nobody can live up to God's covenants is wholly ignorant and deceitful. God's Spirit makes it possible.

Wrong. That is what evangelicals preach, but that is not what the Bible says. Christ plainly told Nicodemus that a person who is born again will be a Spirit, and invisible to the human eye. Rom. 1:4 clearly teaches that Christ is currently the _only_ human who has experienced this rebirth. A Christian is begotten by God, but still NOT born. Christians will NOT experience this rebirth until their bodies are changed to immortal spirit bodies like Christ has.
