I've been watchin your videos man and they are nice, let me ask you something man in this video what modification did you do after using this cal 25 barrel and this regulator with 150bar output? I have priest too and bougth cal 25 barrel but my muzzle velocity is just at 820 fps only in jsb 25 grns cal 25..

I did not make any mods to the RTI guns, but their product line is evolving quite rapidly. For example, newer Priest 2 and all Prophets have larger valve and TP and can get much more power with same regulator setting. There are other improvements as well, but these make the most difference in power.

Thanks for the reply man...I got this rti priest standard version and I want to achieve the same muzzle velocity that you had...could you give me idea how to do it? Is your priest that you are using has a hammer weight?

@@melissapatnugot6811 That will be very hard. The main reason why you are getting lower energy is because the air ports are smaller and the air passing through during the shot is more restricted. To compensate for this, you can either use higher pressure and longer valve opening time. So you would have to increase the reg pressure and use heavier hammer. This is not optima though. Other option is to increase ports and valve but this is a task only experts can do. One option is also if you buy a new body as a spare part from RTI and barrel (you could also keep the original barrel but you would have to enlarge the transfer port).

That is one sweet pcp The PRIEST and accurate almost looks like a FX IMPACT, who sell it in the United States, the accuracy is outstanding, very nice vidio.

Gregor! You got a new subscriber. I was checking your channel and there's something I really like. You reply to all your comments, as I do. My channel is starting now but the reason I decided to create a channel is to bring back the honest opinion that I think is lacking in today's environment. If you check my channel you will see I sold my Taipan Veteran and I was researching a new hunting gun and I came across the Priest 2, and that's why I've found your channel. I'm not sure if I'll pull the trigger on one of those. I see on the comments on this video you mentioned the Priest is not designed for slugs but I read on one comment something that looks like if the guys at RTI are designing a slug liner? Is that something you think will come in the future? The platform is there we just need a new barrel. Also I see when someone compared this gun with the Huben K1 for slugs you said this gun don't have the power, that the slugs will fly slow. The same thing happened to me with my old Taipan, it was grouping really nice but not enough power, will this apply to the Priest 2 HP? With that big 500cc bottle and and adjustable regulator up to 180 bars I'll think I can make those slugs fly in the 900s fps. Hey Gregor, thanks once again and it's a pleasure checking your videos! Hi. Standard Priest has relatively limited power with the relatively small TP and relatively short barrel. Even so, it can get up to about 50 fpe in .22 with the adjustable regulator set to 180 bars and adjustable hammer spring. Me and my colleague Jakob assembled one priest that shoots at 70 fpe with barrel for slugs and it works great. Originally, Priest is not meant for slugs but with the standard barrel, it shoots them quite well. What I said is that the RTI's proprietary 5,5 LR (long range) barrel is not designed for slugs, it is made for pellets. You cannot use that barrel for slugs. The main purpose of that barrel is that you can shoot pellets at much higher velocities without loosing stability. Thanks for subscribing and good luck with your channel. :)

My Taipan was grouping great with slugs with the LW barrel but downside was no adjustability. Do you think the Priest2 that is offered here in the US, Airguns of Arizona, the one with all the upgrades, can that shoot slugs?

Hay Gregor thanks for this video, I need your opinion if you could choose (by the same price) between Edgun long r3m 6.35 and Rti Priset 6.35 which would make your decision, the choice of Edgun or RTI, which gun is more accurate or better.

I have not tried the R3M so I cannot say. There is also a big price difference between these guns. Priest will offer more for the money, but R3M will probably be more ergonomic. Accuracy, I can compare with R5 long (this one I have tested) and I would say that it is about the same although you definitely can get higher power with R5 (I do not know if this goes for R3M as well) ...

@@ellcrow Any of those three will have approximately same accuracy, so you can choose based on other features of these guns. Keep in mind that these are pellet guns and you will need good weather conditions to shoot accurately at this range (no wind).

Hi Gregor, how would you compare the fit, finish and feel of the Priest to the FX Impact? Im of the opinion that the Priest is no frills version of the Impact. Am I mistaken.

These two guns do not have much in common except for the looks. The fit and finish on the Priest is excellent, I will say though it probably has more rough edges (not in terms of bad finish but it is just designed that way). The Priest also does not have easy external adjustment. This adjustments are very useful for the advanced users that know what they are doing but you can also mess your gun up very easily. This cannot happen with the Priest. And lets not forget that the Priest is half of the price of Impact...

You can find this information on their web page or you can calculate form my videos. The testing of slugs is still in the process, I can say that is does shoot my .22 slugs but the velocity /power is too low. I am waiting for some lighter slugs to arrive...

Pozdrav Gregore. Jeli taj kalibar 6.35 ima veći transfer port i ventil (ulaz-izlaz) od 5.5mm, može li se proširiti ako je isti? Može li pucati slugove mp-molds ? Koji su točno navoji na regulatoru i koje je marke regulator? Hvala

Svi Priesti imaju isti port i ventil. Port se može proširiti ali sa oprezom, potrebno če biti dodatnih modifikacija da se to napravi... Slugove ne preporučujem za prosta (matematika - energija). Za navoje sam več pisao prije ali neznam iz glave koji su. Marke (ako ga ne prave sami) neznam.

Kada već proizvode neka proizvedu da valja jer su napravili dobru platformu koju treba malo doraditi da bude extra stvar.Evo jednog reg. koji se može namještati. ​@@antomarkic7190 RTI radi na novim inovativnim produktima koji če več imati sve ovo i više. Predlažem da sačekate pa vidite što naprave. Povečanje transfer porta je za tiste koji imajo dovoljno znanja da to naprave sami na svoj rizik... Huben je u potpunom drugom razredu, jer ne koristi klacičnog principa rada PCP. Kot klasičnih PCP mehanizma naprimjer, sa samo malom promjenom pritiska padne cijela bilanca rada mehanizma. Ne kažem da nije moguče, samo kažem da radite to samo ako zaista volite rad i fiziku PCP jer čete imat puno rada da dođete do dobrog rezultata a vrlo lako do slabog...

Definitely Huben... Priest is a little under powered for those slugs and it also is not designed for slugs so they are hard to push in the barrel...

Very different guns, but if you are looking for maximum accuracy with pellets, then the repeater will always win over semi auto... So general answer is: Priest is more accurate.

Gregor, You have a great deal of engineering knowledge and I recommend that you do “air fun running” because I love to buy latest Huben K1 second generation tunned by you and others like the RTI Priest and so on. The most important criteria are as follows: Accuracy Sound Power consistency The craftsmanship or the quality of the tune I know you will get it spot on. You can also do videos of how to maintain it and basic maintenance or looking after of these pcp air rifles. You could make a good business out of having regular customers. Payments could be done via bank wire or PayPal whatever is most convenient to you. Postage and delivery should be an issue within EU
