True story. Late last year (2022), I was up about 2:30 am. I love jazz music. So as I'm debating who to ask Alexa to play for me the name Doobie Powell came up in my spirit. I'd never heard of him so I asked Alexa to play songs by him. When I heard him I was in love. Then God put in my spirit you love jazz, here's an artist for you. I smiled and was in awe of God. This is very cool, haven't heard anything like it within Christian music! It sounds very improvised, but sometimes Doobie and the strings in the backing track are doing the exact same thing, so it must have required lots of practice! Or did he add the strings afterwards...?
