Actually in the watch se you can get the assistive touch thing too by just updating it so get the se it’s cheap and has like 85% to 90% of the same features

I have the first SE watch and it works fine for me. The only think I really use my watch for is for alarms and checking messages. Occasionally I turn the sleep feature on.I like to watch videos on the newer watches because I'm sure at some point I'll see one that really interests me. Guess I am just waiting for the right one. Just want to reiterate that the SE is a great watch!

Got mine today. 41mm is not too small. It's actually the perfect size and 45mm looks a bit gaudy and a bit too big in my opinion. If you're not 6'3" or more, and don't have much above average dimensions, go for 41mm. So much more comfortable than the 45mm too.

Thank you for the video!! It helped me decide. I’ve had a series 3 gps/cell for many years. I’m finally upgrading but only because I’m forced to do so due to the battery life. I’m going with the SE2 cell. I don’t need any of the other health features that the series9 has to offer. The only thing that I am “iffy” about is the plastic backing instead of glass. I may change my mind once I see it in person.

SE is the perfect value/quality watch AW. Two days battery life with two hours of GPS training outside. Always on display isn't a big thing, neither the size of the display or ECG. I think fast charging is the shttest thing that apple cut from SE watch.

One issue I’ve always had with any Apple Watch is picking any NON black color because with a black watch it does a good job at hiding the bezels from view - out of sight out of mind. With silver or any other brighter color watch the bezels really stand out and that bothers me.

I used the hand gestures from accessibility for my series 6 and over the two years since feature was released it was a huge battery drain and basically wrecked my battery which is at 78%. I’m happy to see it being used as mainstream for some features as the new chip and battery efficiencies would’ve offset the initial burn I was experiencing. I’ve ordered the ultra2 so looking forward to it all.

I just moved from a 40mm 7 series to 44mm SE. No change in performance, just as snappy. I wanted bigger face without paying silly price. I don’t miss always on display (never used it save battery) so far I’m really impressed with the SE. For day to day use it’s just as good as the 7 which I rocked for two years and three months. I just picked up the series 9 this morning, I had the series 8 already but I upgraded that from the SE and gave my mom that one and she loves it but after I used it for about two years the battery isint the best even with me adjusting settings to help. I have only had the series 8 for 7 months or so and the battery life is great so i figured I’d get the 45mm series 9 and give my mom the series 8. I ended up giving my little sister the SE so my whole Apple watch collection is still in the family and working lol

I honestly don't know why anyone would buy an Apple Watch Ultra. They are as ugly as sin. Massive on the wrist. Shaped like a metal brick. Extortionately expensive for what they are. Useless to actual divers or serious sportsmen (nobody is seriously diving sans a dive computer). The same processing power as the Apple Watch S9 and SE. The ONLY better thing is the battery life. Not to be sniffed at but not worth the look of the thing and the cost. I suppose the type of person who's an 'Ultra' person may be the type who upgrades their Apple Watch at all. I ran an original Apple Watch until the S6, my wife now uses it. Furthermore, I'm not going to even consider a replacement unless there's an accident or the rear sensors get a significant upgrade (this was also my criteria for replacing the OG watch). PS: I thought, when they announced it, that I could already do that double-tap fingers thing via accessibility?!? Nice to know I'm not totally insane yet.

Look man I’ve had the series 2 well before the 7, I’ve had an Apple Watch that doesn’t have an AOD, it makes a big difference. I’m not sure why you’re recommending the SE when the 7 will be similarly priced but include more features. I don’t recommend this video necessarily, just do your own research on apple watch specs and figure out which one is best for you.

44 for battery. I bought the small one, 40% are gone in 50 minutes of running with cellular, no music. 7 and forward have fast charge, which is nice for the days you come home with a bit lower battery health.

@@gamebreakerfn so , I’ve been using the SE 2 Months now. First of all, don’t buy it if you have full sleeve tattoos on your arms. I have a full sleeve on my left arm and the watch doesn’t work as the sensors can’t go through the tattoo color. So I’m forced to use the watch on my right arm. In general, I’m using the watch daily for my workouts, and it works great. I can leave my phone away and just use my watch to change music or read to messages. It’s tracking all my progress pretty well. Heart rate is also good, but not better than any other 40 dollars watch, to be honest. So at the of the day, if you have the money to buy it, go for it. But don’t expect it to be 90% better than a Xiaomi watch.

I ordered the 9 399 today .. and gater protector ... I don't normally wear watches ... I like them but work somewhat. I have never had an Apple Watch but as I am alone all the time ... I am thinking also safety. .. what if I fall and nobody is around. that said. .. I got the g[s not the plus cellular ... which latter I am assuming is for having it 's own phone line ... service. I can't afford two lines but do have an iPhone 8 ... If I am out of cellular range and camping or hiking and get injured, with the 399 with GPS only be of help if I fall or get lost? For those curious. I have an I-watch 3. Very happy about it! It keeps me fit with the medals you can get each month by doing activity. It is a really tough thing, in my possession for almost 6 year the screen popped of and i could still use it with al it’s features for 2 more months by using superglue😂. I wore it several times in shower and now screen goes blank. It still works, but i need another one. Budget choice or Series 9 🤔 or maybe wear it and talk to it with Siri until it dies completely

Funny story i got my mums old phone and spent my money on an apple watch se the got home after the people at the counter told use it would work with my iphone x and it didn’t pear because my phone didn’t have ios 17 anyways i upgraded my phone to an iphone 13 and i wam saving for the se gps or the se gen 2 same thing. People here are making good analogies. As for myself, I would probably choose the AWS 9 GPS, because I don't have a cellular plan for my phone either (around here people pay 20 USD per month for unlimited access, but it's a lifestyle choice to balance between offline content i.e., books and audiobooks, and then using public/private wifi for active data streams). I can download Audible audiobooks on device and listen via Bluetooth without internet connection, and use several of the trackers online/offline. If I needed to stay in touch at a moment's notice, I could always take my phone with me. I figured seeing as I won't need the cellular option in the coming months, I can always upgrade in the future if it becomes necessary.

I own a Apple Watch 6 at this time. I do not plan on moving to a new Apple Watch until new health tracking features are part of a new model. The model I would be moving to is the Ultra with the sapphire crystal watch face. I have owned a high end precision watch in the past with sapphire crystal watch face that cost as much as the Ultra. The only thing it did was tell time.

I had apple watch 8, I gave it to someone else who liked it and plan on buying SE. I was not using any of the extra features that SE does not have. Really, I thought always on display would be the one thing I would use but would turn it off to have battery last longer. For sleep and activity tracking I dont like apple watch very much anyway and rely more on whoop or fitbit. So watching weather, spotify, podcast, pick the phone, watch time, check sound volumes , talk on the phone, and some other stuff were the main.
