Try aldi 170g scotch fillet steak for $5 or $6. They are a cheaper looking steak, no marbling, no fat for flavour and both really thin. But at the price they are awesome value! For me, extremely hot skillet, room temp steaks, definitely no spices as they immediately burn- add them later, and turn it not twice but 4-6 times to keep all of the juices inside. And it’s better to go by feel than by time, as you showed every steak is different. Another good review 👍

I've had these once before, and they were pretty ordinary. But I think if you vacuum sealed them and Sous Vide for 3 hours at 55 celcius then quickly grilled them on the weber for 45 seconds each side they would be much more tender and flavorful. Time for Greggo to get an immersion circulator methinks. They're pretty cheap these days and do amazing things for your meat.
