When i started playing the modpack, I never needed steam machines. I am pretty sure that you can make red alloy dust in a crafting table, then smelt that to get the red alloy ingots. I would have to check though.I Also, when you make the crushing wheels to process cobblestone, you can perform this step in the cheaper Millstone. Gravel to Send however, requires the crushing wheels, since Millstones would turn the Gravel into flint.

Hi I've also started playing the pack and you don't have to build a steam machine at all because after you've built an LV machine casing you can buy the input and output hatches.

The spore recipie has been buffed heavily in the latest versions, making it viable to use now instead of the method used in his video.

4:36 the aqueous accumulator could be replaced with a water block and the pipes would extract infinitely from it.​ I'm not sure why the quest book asks you to make one. also you don't need to sieve coarse dirt, you can right click it with a hoe and 100% converts. but sieving is a lot more convenient. someone already said but there's another recipe for red alloy, iirc it uses the create mixer or something

Remember that a youtuber will compress a video so the viewers enjoy it without going through the tedious and grindy parts. Also everyone plays at a different pace, don't worry if you're playing the pack "wrong" because there is no right or wrong way to play a modpack! (I spent 50 hours in GT new horizons in order to make myself the first circuit). Enjoy playing!

Don't get too disheartened, it took me 1000 hours to get through GTCeu and most people can do that in about 300. I'm already at 34 hours playtime so I am by no means fast

Hey, just need an advise if you still remember how things worked early game. I dropped a bunch of items by accident while moving my storage, and I lost all my coins. So the question is, if I have access to to early tree Greg machines, is there a way to produce enough steel for kinetic ore factory without grinding for four hours? Don’t feel like building six smelters and a bunch of coke ovens and running like a maniac( Or this is the prime Greg experience?

I know I'm a bit late but, how do you get the item pipes to transfer into the large stone barrels? My pipes will extract and put into the basins and even after setting the flow direction to only flow into the barrel and the drawer they still wont take the cobblestone out of the basins

So in EMI, you can go to multiblock information, and you'll find all 114 or something different structures

the star tech on forge has tons of bugs that prevent you from progressing spent over 200 hours on the pack getting to hv and nothing would upgrade with the cards

The upgrade card work in a really funny way, you can't get them from the creative menu and they don't say how much they upgrade things, but if you craft them, they work on all thermal series machines and scale up processing, LV upgrade does 4x, MV does 16x and so o, they are challenging to grasp though I understand

just make sure have the right RPM and stress units for it, its a bit fiddly but you can get it to work

Just check that you have all of the conditions required, so the soil on top is tilled, there is enough output space and you have the right circuit and input

You need to use input busses and hatches, and make sure you have the right circuit set for the recipe you want
