I love seeing Greninja in builds.

25:45 You're the first other person I've seen choosing to hold the Professor's Research to play around Red Card. I haven't been too interested in building Dragonite, but you certainly got my attention with the Greninja.

You should try a Koffing/Weezing Dragonite deck with 2 Kogas. Ive had a lot of success with it. Weezing is a great wall and tank, and Koga allows you to recall him and even recast an almost knocked Weezing for free. Don't use any dark energy either, just Lightning and Water because Weezing can chip away with free poison. It usually buys me enough time to power up a Dragonite.

I haven't tested these together myself but i can tell you for sure having 2 separate lines of 3 doesn't make the deck more consistent, it definitely makes it immensely more difficult to find your lines in the deck.
@TLSGPokemonАй бұрын
But since the main idea of the early game is to stall, almost every match I play gets down to only have a handful of cards left in deck (~5 or less) this gives plenty of time to find the lines that we needed!

at around 20:00, you could have held onto the dragonite for one turn longer. this would have let you take out the muk with dragonair's 3-energy attack on the next turn. The tradeoff is it makes you more vulnerable to red card, especially since dragonite is a 1x in this list, but I think it's probably worth it.

uh, I have a deck with just greninjas and dragonites, and it doesn't do too bad. I never considered going with just 1 dragonite in the deck. I guess I could try using one kangaskhan in its stead.
@christopherdugay628024 күн бұрын
Crazy all the hypno jiggly puff or frost moth I see. I run a dragonite deck with wheezing wayyy better wheezing stalls with 110 hp plus poisons for no energy and I can koga him to full heal him plus koga counters arboks ability corner
@LoschiferАй бұрын
I also really like running 2 koffing 2 Weezing and 2 Koga with the dragonite core. I also choose to not run dark along with the water and lightning energy because weezing can still do chip damage without energy. Then when they get weezing low you just koga and use the weezings and koga to stall for dragonite instead. Has worked quite well for me

annything can replace kangaskhan ?
@TLSGPokemon28 күн бұрын
Typically any basic pokemon with high health that either only requires one energy ti attack or is just mean to soak damage (like a snorlax) will work!

Hahaa this is the deck I use. I used greninja with dragonite and I use lapras and misty. I use the misty to draw the water energy to use to stall while I build up dragonite and greninja

Don't use Kanga...really stop doing that i see so many and iam like this cards so bad..like for real. I would never take any mon who needs a coinflip and eventually not even doing any damage at all if it lands bad..and if u need a wall play one snorlax. And thats that.

I love this game. And I know humans are bad at tracking probability... But Im pretty sure these guys need to double check their random generator...
@TLSGPokemonАй бұрын
I'm creating a spreadsheet to track because it has felt like far less than 50% coin flip since release! Right now, after 64 flips (very small sample), I'm at 44% heads rate and 56% tails
@wallridez514Ай бұрын
@TLSGPokemon this is why your channels rules. I will say that personally the flips feel very "swingy"

👋 Hi TLSG! I’m Ander, Son of A Lich and one of the few OG Quicksilver enjoyers! (Godsplit my Hipp variant when it first came out) ☺️ About heads/tails probability: while the probability of generating a heads or tails is an equal 50/50, the number of heads or tails *SEEN* is not (particularly with Misty in the works!). If I’m running Marowak/Kangaskhan, I may flip 8 coins in a single game but that means, vi dicta, that I’m not generating as much damage (the opportunity to flip coins comes from getting tails; instead of a 1 hit KO on t1 with Kanga, I had to flip more coins on 2.) Conversely, getting a heads on Misty means getting another coin flip, so Misty players are more likely to see an excessive number of heads then the EV value would suggest of taking the population and dividing by 2. So, you aren’t experiencing bad luck, as the atypical distribution of opportunity cost associated with coin flipping. ☺️ If you want to improve the haptics of your luck, playing cards like Frosmoth will result in more heads overall, as he will survive to sleep the opponent again by flipping heads. Loving the content! Hope this helps!
