Alex Childress I could not have said it better. He will be as great as them. I have full confidence that the whole band will rock the world in ways that no new band has in decades. As they continue to grow into their sound, they will build upon the classics to create something powerful that the world hasn't heard yet, just as Led Zeppelin stood on the shoulders of blues legends to create their signature hard rock sound fifty years ago. I look forward to hearing what Greta Van Fleet gives us.

Just found these guys within the past week... I had given up on new music for the most part, but I heard "Highway Tune" by these guys on my random Spotify radio station (Zeppelin or Jack White) and was in the other room... and literally thought 'What the fuck song is this and what Zeppelin album is this from?" and couldn't figure it out (obviously) and stormed back into the other room and saw the name of this band. Blew my mind. I was almost 100% certain that some unreleased tracks from Zep had just surfaced and were leaked or something... little did I know it was a band of teenagers from my state of Michigan. Very happy to hear it and it gives me hope for the future of music.

@voteZDLR6 жыл бұрын
I mean even Robert Plant smoked and did coke and everything, things known for "destroying voices" but honestly considering that's something he was born with I think the odds are more in his favor than against him that he can probably pick up any number of bad habits and retain it. Another thing is touring musicians are constantly exercising their vocals, so idk, I am not saying get a drug problem and be a rock cliche or anything although it is a risk factor, the fact remains the same that no vocal coach in the world could teach him to do what he can do. I am not saying he doesn't work at it, but at the end of the day that's nothing short of talent he has. Period. Can't say the same as much for the rest of his band. They're good, don't get me wrong, but what he can do is like Michael Jackson compared to the Jackson Five levels of talent. Don't be surprised if/when he ends up clicking up with another band at some point in his life. At the end of the day though he probably won't roll on his family until it comes time for him to embark on a solo career and I wouldn't be shocked at all if that happened. He's the one with the real talent in the group.

One very important tip: don't overproduce your albums!!! Leave a rawness to them, record them live in studio. Zeppelin had possibly the best produced rock albums of all time, and that makes a HUGE difference in your sound.
@peterthomasratto76196 жыл бұрын
It sounded just a tad overproduced but pretty good for 2017 standards. The singer I feel struggles to hit quite the notes he hit in the studio but he might've had a bad day who knows
@lizziesangi16026 жыл бұрын
IAmStoned. Thaz the way you like to hear them. It's not as doable as you think.
@Samzillah6 жыл бұрын
Yeah their stuff is definitely produced quite a bit. Plus in the studio you have 1,000,000x to get it right. And they can splice together good takes.

Shit. This is 70's rock in the 2017. This band is killer. Just like Zep in the 70's.

Rock n' Roll may sometimes fade from the charts. But young bands like these guys keep the fire raging on! I'm a fan now.

Mr. Dark what are you talking about, he sounded almost like he does on the double ep, ya this isn't his best he's had better but this is still good

Also thats his voice at his worst. He sounds so much better live now. Think he figured out how to prepare properly before a show, which is not always easy for singers.

Everyone is comparing his vocals to Plant.... what about Geddy Lee? He seems like a mix of both. Anyhow, great new band. I haven't loved a new band this much since the black keys. Keep rockin boys!

Rock and Roll isn't dead, ladies and gentlemen! These awesome millenials are keeping rock alive. I don't care if they sound like Led Zep. Greta Van Fleet is now part of my playlist.
@Incog2k66 жыл бұрын
These guys aren't Millennials. Millenials were officially born between 1981 and 1996. Greta Van Fleet are Generation Z. People need to stop automatically labelling "young people" as Millennials. The majority of us Millennials are in our 30s now (I'm 32). Yes, shocking, time moved on :P.
