Josh probably has the widest vocal range of all singers today. He can talk low, sing high and still maintain an amazing tone. People only dislike because they're jealous.

Geo L That gave me cancer. Sounds like a cat in heat who wants to also be robert plant
@geol19366 жыл бұрын
Shane S. He he he. You could look at it that way, and I won't argue. There's power in Josh's vocals. Imo, I too think Plant's voice is better. Going bavk 40 years, some of my friends didn't like Geddy Lee's voice, or even Rik Emmett's voice. I liked voice in all different ranges, if it flowed with the music. The early clips of Josh's voice is a stark comparison to today's version. He wasn't as high in pitch. Check out the recent posting of their early '12-'14 material if you haven't listened to it yet.

Dredge hate you? Jeez, we're just shootin'the breeze about music. Rik's voice is still terrific. Of course, he cannot hit the high notes like he used to, but he gets close enough. I'm going to see Rik for the 9th time solo this Sept. Rik and Dave Dunlap are great duo guitar show.

3 speed Sting-Ray they are plugged in playing acoustic guitars. I do like when artists play acoustic sets. One of my favorite live shows was when Govt Mule did one of their rare live acoustic first sets before blasting into a hard rocking second set. It was on a quiet, snowy evening, so the somber mood was already set.

Sam1973. Those guitar harmonies, as well as the riffs are as rudimentary as it gets. Fans who tout the musicality of these beginners do not know what they are talking about.Compare their ability to what the dinosaur rockers had when they were this age, and you are left with a garage band that has a cool singer.
@Sam-gb3lw6 жыл бұрын
Mike Frank Less is more. As technology and skill advances with music, it’s more than refreshing to hear a mainstream band actually playing guitar.- Be it simple or not; it sounds cool.
@mikefrank63196 жыл бұрын
Sam 1973.True enough.These guys have something, and that is enough these days. Neil Peart once said, You don't have be a virtuoso to make a great song or have a great groove.But sometimes when you ascribe to the kiss ( keep it simple stupid) formula you sometimes end up with love (leave out virtually everything). Glad there are many kinds of music to enjoy. Cheers. I was in ninth grade in 1973.

I am happy to see a young band like these guys making it, I have a son that worked his tail off to make it and just never got there. He had high hopes and I had high hopes for him. He plays several instruments and wrote his own music and lyrics, many I thought were radio worthy. I am sure many really good and worthy bands don't get there but I am happy to see these guys doing it. I stumbled on them while looking for video's of The Revivalists and glad I did.
