I grew up with Led Zeppelin. I am glad these kids are here! A breath of fresh air. I have to chuckle at critics who play in no band, have no albums, and have no taste. Slash has nothing but good things to say about GVF. I would pay to see them live. Fairly certain Led Zeppelin approves of their music. I even read a comment saying Josh copies Robert Plants gestures when he sings. Wow.......I didn't realize that with all the singers and all the bands throughout history that Robert Plant has patented gestures! Keep Rocking !

I think that Greta Van Fleets timing is important, because if they came decades earlier they would have been too corny of a Led Zep rip-off for people to think they were original, but since they're young and enough time has passed, where the singer copying Led Zepplin has become endearing instead of corny lol.

Given the way Robert Plants vocal health went after only a few years of touring, I'd say its not unwarranted to be concerned about this singers long term vocal fold health.

It was partly his smoking/drinking and crazy touring schedule, but it was also his lack of applying proper technique to certain things, like his high note screams. This in some sense was part of his style, but it also cost him his vocal fold health more quickly than it should have.
