Been learning guitar from marty for at least 8 years or so now mabye more and he's never let me down, not long discovered Greta and wanted to learn a few of their tunes and marty is still the first dude to pop up! super cell hard to do properly cuz the guitar is like a quarter town out of tune it's really wierd so most people play it a semi tone down just if your ever playing along and think your out of tune or something your not

I play the riff from Highway Tune on my acoustic. It sounds OK, but it definitely sounds much better on my Fender Strat

hey!! i play flower power on my acoustic.. if you go on guitar tabs you can see that the chords are pretty repetitive. standard tuning and A and D for the verses. i looked up some people playing it on youtube to get the strumming down. its such a fun song to play!!!

Slight correction Marty. On the part before the chorus instead of C major to B major, Jake is using C7 and B7 still barred on the 3rd & 2nd frets and also uses the pinky to suspend the 2nd string notes. Thanks for the GVF lessons bro!!

Jake doesn't actual play the full barre chord in the first E minor, he leaves the middle note (pinky) out. Love your channel Marty

autocrow I’m finding that middle finger whole step up chord where you lift the pink on and off very difficult because I can’t get my pointer barred at same time in that shape.. maybe I’m sitting goofy I dunna only been playing 8 months so my barre chords aren’t all that to begin with but do you suggest standing or any tips I really want to play this song

It helps to keep your elbow tucked in against your side when playing barre chords. That makes your fingers more parallel to the frets. Just go slow and get used to the new fingering.

I've been waiting for you to do a tutorial on GVF! I couldn't find any other videos that were as helpful as yours, they are detailed but not boring and straight to the point.
