If you think this is long....the Weight of dreams hits 13 minutes live. I saw them play Highway Tune for 20 minutes (like a 3 minute song). If your in the crowd itself, it's a completely different experience.

These guys are so good live…love how tight they are and how it’s all truly live. I’m always up for a nice long guitar solo in a live show…I love getting lost in it (I don’t think it always translates into videos though…it’s a live phenom).

This was a surprise even for me, I remember that I recommended this song more than a year ago, even before the Patreon dynamic. I was glad to see your reaction during the video, it was like I was seeing it for the first time again. Enjoyed your review. The guitarist does tend to extend too long in live shows. Talented, for sure, but a bit much. I enjoy solos as much as anyone. These guys are a great live band and they instantly grab your attention on stage. Josh, the singer is simply amazing. No autotune here.

Drummer is Danny. Jake (lead guitar) and Josh (lead vocals) are identical twins. Their younger brother, Sam, is bass and keys.

I saw these guys open for Metallica last year. They truly rock but more than very offten they jammed for too long hhaha they are great at it, but sometimes is just too much time haha

I saw GVF last July and I had the same exact criticism. First and foremost, they are an absolutely incredible live band. They’re tight and put on a great show. With that being said, there were definitely a few songs that went over the top. I’m cool with one really long solo on Weight of Dreams but besides that, I’m good ha. Idk if they previously used guitar solos just as a means to extend their shows as their catalog was lighter, or if they’re meant to give Josh’s vocals a rest, or what. They took Highway Tune, and I swear, they extended it to like 20-25mins long. Even I was like, ok, is this gonna end ha. Id rather hear 3-4 more songs at the end of the show than an extended Highway Tune. All in all though, they killed the show I was at 🤘🏻
