won a contest for a private show from this station back in march.. show was set for april while i was still living in the greater toronto area, then it got cancelled.. moved back up north in may and found out the show was rescheduled for july.. was so excited and booked a flight just to see them.. long story short, my girlfriend and i were waiting months because of a cancellation to finally get the chance to see them, then our flight gets cancelled at the last minute and we missed the show.. wish we could’ve seen them before their first album dropped

For people who say Josh uses a forced, British accent: You have to understand one thing first. He has an incredible voice. I've seen countless videos/reviews of vocal coaches reacting to them and they all say one thing in common: "He sings this way, with such LITTLE effort". And no, this is not saying he doesn't sing with passion. They're saying, his vocal coords ARE SOOO accustomed to his insane talent. Even if the average person were to replicate the magnitude of his voice, they would be using ALL THEIR energy and would not last long. Some people tend to forget just exactly WHAT is going on in his throat/vocal region (whatever its called) when he's singing. THIS PUTS AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF STRESS on that region yet he has mastered the ability to control it and USE IT! So to address the British-accent bull shit. 1) If you were smart, you would know it doesn't even sound British, it just sounds like someone who is trying to force it (sorta the reason why people believe this) 2) The main point: HOW can you imagine that through the SHEER stress, work, and intensity of his vocals, that his normal everyday voice isn't going to be impacted in some way??? The kid has been working this thing with his voice for years and we're surprised when his "talking voice" stands out from the rest of the band's voices? EDIT: I'm not saying he's the greatest singer of all time. It just so happens that the style of singing that he chose to pursue happens to be one in which requires lots of energy and work.
