I notice the sonnerie mechanism used is near identical to that used by vacheron in their recently unveiled sonnerie, right down to the the bridge and lever shapes, position of the pr indicators and power reserves. Is it possible that the two use pre designed mechanisms? Some info from the manufacturers would be ideal.

These watches are very interesting... I love the miniaturized text they do... the mechanisms are fascinating, so precise, clean and professional. But I'm not 100% convinced by the face! Quite busy and too... sporty perhaps?

What an odd way of looking at the winding weight ? Why not have the winding weight wind (Both Barrels ?) To have the winding weight *only* wind the repeater train doesn't make much sense to me (????) If you are a mechanical watch "purist," as Mr. Forsey is, then wind both or autowind both, but don't do one and not the other. Unusual, but elegant as always. Love your coverage on this Marc.
