I have to leave another comment since I have finished watching the video. This video was fantastic!! Jim is a great speaker, and it’s easy to tell that he is a great guy. He’s a man’s man. A man’s man with an excellent beard. That mustache really sets the rest of the beard off. I appreciate his mannerisms, his story telling, and his fascinating logic, experience, and knowledge of his beard, and many beards like it. I thought this was one o the best ideas you have come up with Dan. Oh, and how awesome was it that Jim filmed in the North Carolina forest. A+!

Michael Zarate thank you for your kind words. For me the NC woods is a natural place to sit, think and talk. Most of the time no one is there except for the trees and wildlife to hear me.... sometimes that might be a good thing 😝

James Hambrick , yes sir I can definitely agree with that. I actually am from Lexington, North Carolina. I love fishing for Largemouth Bass. If you know where Lexington is, we have great BBQ. My favorite is simply known as Lexington BBQ, locals call it the Honey Monk.

Great to see someone on here with a grey beard talking about how he takes care of it. I've seen only a few videos where the guy actually has a grey beard discussing grey beards. Dan has a great one on how it's different and how to deal with it but to hear someone with an actual grey beard is different, and a good thing for us grey beaded guys to see. Also good to see someone living in NC. Thanks for a great video Jim. And thanks Dan for having him on your channel. By the way Jim your beard looks great. No need to be humble about it.

I'm 42 and I have light and dark hairs in my beard but the most grey i have is in my side burns. My father has lighter hair with a mix of grey and my uncles on my mother's side are now completely white. To me it makes sense from a life cycle perspective that my side burns would go grey first because that's the facial hair that began to come in first. Whether that's the case or simply genetics I'm sure I'll be there one day. Jim thanks for the insight and Great Job Brother. Love the kids! Great way to start the video. Thanks for this video. I am starting to get a lot of grey in my beard. This was very helpful.

I'm late to the party but that was a fantastic, heart warming video. Great message from Jim and loved seening the little ones. Jax and Maddox with the "Dudes day!" had me running to show the Mrs. Put a smile to my face after a long day 🍻🤘

Great video! I’m getting ready to try some purple toner shampoo for blond and silver hair. It is supposed to really make the silver shine bright. My wife ordered it from Viori, since it has good, all natural ingredients unlike the purple shampoo from the grocery store. We will see!

Awesome Kids! Jim Rocks! My hair even though it's gray, it's a different texture than most... It's not kinky curly, but more wavy and straight... The less is more is the biggest game changer for me! it's been hard to find what works, some videos I feel like they are just hawking the sponsored product, and not really giving all the details... They mention things but don't show in the video... Styling balm or Pomade have been an essential thing for my texture hair, I just wish I knew about it a year ago...

Hey Brian Carter, every time I see your beard it looks more like head hair than beard hair. It looks smooth sometimes wavey but not curly. Your beard rocks!

My grey beard is curly, wiry, and goes everywhere. I’ve used plus and balms for years. It wasn’t till I discovered using a blow dryer that I was able to tame it.

how can you tell if your beard is dry or not...i think mine seems to get dry quick but i might not be sure/right on what is considered dry versus not dry please explain this or show me a vid that has it in there please...Brian
@jameshambrick79184 жыл бұрын
Brian Campbell if your r beard is brittle, brakes off or if you have split ends, those are all signs of a dry beard. Butter at night and oil in the day should help with any of those things. If your beard feels soft and does not itch then I would say that you are doing OK.... looks like your beard is a winner 🔥
@briancampbell55184 жыл бұрын
@@jameshambrick7918 Thank you for the information...i tend to do oil and balm in the day add balm a second time and butter at night before bed..my beard seems soft to the touch..so i guess i am doing it right..

Great video and great beard Jim. You mentioned you often wash your beard but I just wondered if you regularly condition wash too?
@jameshambrick79184 жыл бұрын
Kerry #S I have not used co-wash as of yet. Typically I will beard wash and butter before bed. In the morning I rinse and let dry a bit then oil and blow dry. One of these days I will order co-wash because I am curious to see how it works, perhaps it will be another game changer. I’ll keep you posted.

@@jameshambrick7918 Thanks for the reply, nice to hear what works for you. Mine seems a softer when I use cowash but don't want to overuse it.

Hey guys thanks for video. Wondering what oil. Jim uses. Heavy. Medium.
@jameshambrick79184 жыл бұрын
BGVERN Canada. MEDIUM OIL and I don’t like butter that is waxy, I like my beard to feel soft and natural without being weighted down and definitely not greasy.
