Grey's Anatomy - Callie and Arizona "No heartbeat" 10x09

Two flashback scenes. They lost the baby... And Arizona seems unwilling to try again, saying she's already lost too much.

The saddest part of this is that, originally, Arizona didn't want kids. Callie getting pregnant with Sofia wasn't Arizona's choice because they broke up for a bit but she took on the responsibility of being a mom to Sofia because of how much she loved Callie. That relationship brought out a part of Arizona that she didn't know she had and made her want to try for a baby and then, when she got pregnant, she lost it and her heart broke so completely that the part of her that was so excited to be a mom again died along with her baby. It's such a tragic story. Damn Shonda and her ability to not just tug at the heartstrings but cut them into bits for good measure.😭

This episode is confusing but to my understanding Callie is going through a lawsuit. So she's having flashbacks to what was happening at the time. This conversation and Arizona miscarrying is pre-cheating. So by this point she's been in the plane crash and lost her leg but she hasn't cheated on Callie with Lauren yet.

@@teachabheya9871 Well duh 😳😳😳 that is what we see here. What led up to this was Callir and Arizona wanting another child and they tried with ivf I believe to make that happen. It wasn't a big storyline but it did happen
