Only in some cases e.g mum/mom but the pronunciation of the word won't change they'll just have different accents. Having a British or Scottish accent shouldn't make any difference to the ability to pronounce a word. It's not like it was written in 'American' where only Americans can pronounce it

Did you know that when the actors are shooting an OR scene or medical scene and they have to quickly say all this medical jargon - if they forget or don't know the line, they just say the words "MedicalMedical" behind their mask and they loop the lines into the scene later on.

cosmodic I was so pissed!!! And not because he left but because it was so very, very poorly executed. It took less than twenty minutes to go from hitting him with a truck to unplugging him from life support. Not to mention the number of ridiculous plotholes. Honestly, after this long, I was just really angry that his character (and the fans) did not get the exit that he deserved. Their dog and some of the extras and minor characters got a better exit than he did. Plus everything separate from the episode (interviews, tweets, etc.) surrounding this situation are all just very strange and suspicious. I feel like Shonda Rhimes just went on another power trip. If you go against her in any way shape or form, she kills you off in a gruesome, horrible way.
