The nearly twenty years I've had greyhounds in my world have been so rewarding! Volunteered with two rescue groups over the years, arranged meet and greets with the public at many functions, sporting events, shopping malls and such.

Thank you for all the great videos you make and post. Loved seeing the "black dog" statue. Magnus and Scout are beautiful greyhounds. We have our third rescue greyhound now and there is no other breed that fills my heart with such pure joy than the greyhound.

I've got a great photo of our "black bitch" standing admiring the statue, while passers by found it very amusing. She found it much more interesting than Magnus and Scout. I love the story, and Linlithgow is a lovely little town.

Scout would have probably happily jumped in the water after the birds at first. The swans were all about following Magnus.

Magnus was super calm around the ducks and swans. They were actually following Magnus. The yellow thing is a lead extention. It also lights up for the dark evenings and mornings.

Love greyhounds, tried to re home one from racing trust a few months ago but was unsuccessful due to low fences in our garden, will definitely be trying again once we get new fencing! They’re my absolute favourite

Lovely video!! And it was a really interesting to see the statue of this historical hound🖤 One question from a grey parent to another: did you use some extra help about teaching them to walk alongside you instead of keeping a quick pace in front of you? Because I've been trying to teach my 3-year old and he has so much energy that he usually rushes ahead of me and it is difficult for me to set the pace when we are out on our daily walks.

We did a lot of stop and start training were you stop if they pull on the lead. They picked it up pretty quickly. Scout can be a bit stubborn on some walks but she is getting better too.

@@johnhutchison9782 yes but you then asked about autumn in England which Scout and Magnus would not know about because they're in Scotland 😂 Great Britain describes all of the countries in these Isles of which England is also one, Wales and Ireland being the others along with Scotland. The United Kingdom is different again and under some dispute.... Hope this is informative and taken in the lighthearted spirit in which it was intended. 😊👍 Edit: oh and yes ducks definitely quack in different accents 😂 🦆😂
