When they do this song live he ditches the mic when he screams "unsatisfied primal fear" and you can legit hear him from the back.

NikNokturnal performed Demolisher with them live and the only mic they had ready was Alex's backup microphone in case he breaks the main one, no one changed the mixer settings for it and they had the volume turned down so low because Alex is naturally so loud you could barely hear Nik screaming at his loudest

Extreme vocals are usually classified like that: The lowest - gutturals Low - growls Mid - mids (xd) High - can be just highs, pitched screams, goblin screams and ton of different names, based on technique the vocalist is using Squeesing "breeeee"s and other similar sounds - pig squeals (i think you never heard it before) That Alex's hard RRRRRRR - chortle Highs in whistle register - whistle screams (same as pig squeals, but i really think you should hear them at least once. For me they are as brutal as lowest gutturals) It's the base, there're lots of extreme vocals techniques (fry, falsecord, harsh, mix etc), if you want to learn more about that - search for "extreme vocal institute", "kardavox academy" or "hungry lights (justin bonetz)", they're great teachers and vocalists

There's a number of professional vocalists and doctors that are teaming up together and researching the phenomenon of "harsh vocals" as of right now. "Harsh vocals" or "death growls" are the most commonly used. They're hoping to come to an agreement of what each growl or scream will be called.

Plus some of the songs, the screamer or the clean vocalist do some rapping. - Veil Of Maya (Matriarch album, or just the song Mikasa, as well as anything from the newest album "[m]other") - Beartooth (Disgusting album and Below album) - Issues (Beautiful Oblivion album. You'll love the song "Flexin") - Of Mice and Men (Floods deluxe album and Restoring Force album... Maybe Tether album as well) - Erra (Self titled album) - Reflections ("And Found" is a good starting place, same with a recent single "Deva") - Crystal Lake (Denial and Rebirth) In the same video, they go with each other) - Alpha Wolf (A Quiet Place To Die album) - The Wise Man's Fear (Atlas Ruinica album, and the What Slept Beneth Tarvos EP) - Attack! Attack! (Self titled album and This Means War album) - Thrown (You'll like them a lot... LIKE... A LOT....) - Periphery (P5 album, P3 album) - Unproccessed (...And Everything In Between album) - The Home Team (Any singles from 2024) - Invent Animate (Recommend starting with the newest album, Heavener, but would recommend listening to the Everchager album too) - Bilmuri (entire discography) Have fun!!!
