When they do this song live he ditches the mic when he screams "unsatisfied primal fear" and you can legit hear him from the back.
@Lostpure3 ай бұрын
NikNokturnal performed Demolisher with them live and the only mic they had ready was Alex's backup microphone in case he breaks the main one, no one changed the mixer settings for it and they had the volume turned down so low because Alex is naturally so loud you could barely hear Nik screaming at his loudest

Extreme vocals are usually classified like that: The lowest - gutturals Low - growls Mid - mids (xd) High - can be just highs, pitched screams, goblin screams and ton of different names, based on technique the vocalist is using Squeesing "breeeee"s and other similar sounds - pig squeals (i think you never heard it before) That Alex's hard RRRRRRR - chortle Highs in whistle register - whistle screams (same as pig squeals, but i really think you should hear them at least once. For me they are as brutal as lowest gutturals) It's the base, there're lots of extreme vocals techniques (fry, falsecord, harsh, mix etc), if you want to learn more about that - search for "extreme vocal institute", "kardavox academy" or "hungry lights (justin bonetz)", they're great teachers and vocalists

There's a number of professional vocalists and doctors that are teaming up together and researching the phenomenon of "harsh vocals" as of right now. "Harsh vocals" or "death growls" are the most commonly used. They're hoping to come to an agreement of what each growl or scream will be called.
