@@truelies2667 When Callie was first introduced George’s whole friend group treated her horribly, and specifically Izzie. Izzie went as far to tell her she would never be apart of their friend group. She alienated Callie 100% and was mean and cruel. At a certain point George stopped talking to Izzie because of it. Personally I think this caused a lot of insecurities in their marriage. They probably never should have married but it wasn’t really Izzies place to decide that. It was George’s. If George wanted to make it work that was 100% his right to go through that process and learn on his own. I don’t blame Callie for being gross and rude towards Izzie. She saw through Izzies bullshit, before they even could admit it was going on. Sometimes you just know and Callie did. Callie never took advantage of George, she genuinely loved him and god forbid she believe he loved her back. George wasn’t a child, he was an adult. He chose to get married, he chose to cheat. Those were his choices. I think Callies stance against Izzie was appropriate given the way she was treated by Izzie. Let’s not forget the comment he made about Izzie being a model and him never being able to get her, literally the night before he cheated on her. I don’t always agree with Callie but George and Izzie did her soooo wrong here it was disgusting.

@@truelies2667 there's so much objectively wrong with your statement. First of all Callie didn't forgive George. She tried to, because she's Catholic and was trying to avoid divorce. But she very quickly realizes that she can't forgive him. And I don't care if she forgave him or not a person of any gender had the right to be pissed at the person their partner cheated with of that person was aware it was cheating. Also Izzy was a bitch to Callie first. She treated her like a freak for no reason. She acted like freakin Regina George levels of mean girl towards Callie when Callie was just trying to get to know Geroge's friends. And yes Callie slept with Mark, after she broke up with George. She was never kind to Callie even when Callie was trying to be nice to her. She was always a hypocrite to get own friends. Like when she was sniping at Meredith for sleeping with an attending. Because it's not fair to the careers of other people in the program. Of course that goes at the window when she goes and fraternizes with a heart patient followed by STEALING A HEART. Jeopardizing not only her career, but the hard earned reputation of every single doctor in that hospital. And after such a fall from grace she wants to criticize Cristina for trying to help Burke out in surgery. And after sleeping with George Her first concern isn't that she slept with a man in a relationship, but how she wanted him because the sex was good. After telling Alex to wait for her. But after hurting Callie to be together, they break up because the sex is bad. But her crowning moment of assholery has to be dumping her medical bills on Alex after leaving him without a word. She was always an asshole who could never be an adult and handle her feelings like an adult for 5 minutes. That is why characters like Cristina and Callie outshine her completely.

I love Callie and Izzie. Izzie totally deserved this though. It was a long time coming, from all the crap she was giving Callie from the beginning. I'm a little pissed Callie never got to call out Meredith though for the same. Of the whole time Izzie was on the show, this was the only time I really strongly disliked her, and I'm a huge fan of her. Although it is easy to see the mistake she made. Both George and Izzie _were drunk_. Callie is partially wrong though, she _never_ took advantage. George knew what he was getting into. They had a kissing moment after the drunk night. I blame them both, but as Izzie says "Just because people do terrible things doesn't mean they're terrible people". I do think this arc was out of character for Izzie, but excellent for making Callie rise. Wish they did it with Nurse Olivia or something instead though. Izzie has been critical of cheaters in the past, so this came off as ridiculous. She's far too moral for this stunt. At least Izzie eventually took culpability & was a punching bag or in general ostracised by others over it. But then they went too far, and tried to push over her and she got her strength back by the end of the season, which was good. Callie was also incredibly mature for sticking up for her against Hahn in season 5, and knowing Izzie knew George better in season 6. I wish they developed a bond and we got to see Izzie really redeem herself in that regard, for giving poor Callie shit from the start. Go Callie!

To be honest I liked the love triangle. It's not moral what Izzie did but most times you can't control who you fall in love with and that's real life. However I put the blames most on George because he was the one who did a vow to wife, however, again, sometimes is easier to say/try to be moral than to actually do it. My opinions on Callie are neutral, but to be completely honest I don't like her. Not because I don't like the character itself but because I think she's boring and most of her story line is created around other's. Early it was about the love triangle. Then, she and Arizona- then when it got casual, the writers had to make Arizona suffer so just Callie would have a more interesting story line. I think Callie by herself is not a strong character nor anything to add- i's a shame actually.

Then she decides to come back and actually expects ever one to just be okay with her sudden disappearance and reappearance. She was way to fucking emotional when it came to anything. I still blame her for Denny's death. And I get people are flawed and will make mistakes and i would be able to forgive ALL of it, if she wasn't such a nasty bitch. She didn't just hurt Callie by sleeping with George, she made Callie feel like an outsider who wasn't good enough for their little clique. She hated Callie and didnt even make an effort to get to know her. Then offended Callie any moment she got. Even worse is she was so petty she was willing to take cardio from Cristina (one of the best characters on the show) JUST to be petty and prove a point.

I HATED how they all treated Callie all the time. She's a badass great doctor and they were all bullying her just because she loved pathetic George (whom i never liked as a character start to finish) ... She should have taken a nice cold revenge on all of them. She's the doctor, she calls enough shots to make them hold their bums
