This is so helpful. I really love the fact that you gave me a real feel of how 3d render artists go about jobs. You didn't hide your frustrations at some point. You tried so many times to achieve specific results. Other tutorials make you feel you know nothing and may never be motivated to keep at it. Thanks a lot guys. I'm Ghanaian.

Wow, when you put that soft box over it! 😍 I've been trying to figure out the settings for something like that forever, and I was so happy you guys achieved it... Can't wait to try it out, though I know, I might still have a rough time tweaking the numbers seeing that I'm not always the most knowledgeable when it comes to the technical aspect of settings like that vs. size... But you guys definitely got me waaaaaaay closer to achieving it myself... 😁 Thank you so much for this video, and all of your hard work! Much love and appreciation! ❤

Wow guys. Amazing tutorial!!! It´s hard to believe you made that in only 1 hour! I favved the video instantly. Just one question, I noticed that the reflection in the plate is blurrier than the cup. Does that mean the original added blur only to the material of the plate? or is it just added later in photoshop? What do you think?

Great stuff as always guys! But man, are u really adding softbox?) Note how seamless the reflections are in the original image (like made in bright room or outside), so definetely HDRI sky, definetely no softbox, even huge one that gives theese white reflections that tells about studio shot for sure. Anyway everything else is so helpfull! Cheers!

The meniscus on the fluid surface would cause the fluid to stick to the sides of the cup - the fluid level would curve upwards to meet the cup. You modelled it as curving downwards which is incorrect.

You can actually use the Sky object and HDRs off the internet. It won't be the same but that's a workable solution. Their HDRI Studio Rig is very streamlined and is very intuitive to use, but that doesn't mean you can't do it in house in C4D. it'll just more time to do the same steps
