I just cooked that same beef from Kroger last night! Added peppers and onions, melted cheese and put it all on a bun. We actually already have the noodles and the broccoli. Now I will be buying another pack of the meat to try this!

Nice Brent! Ya the meat isn't to bad for the price and it is all sliced up and ready to go. It was good with the noodles and pretty darn easy, I hope you enjoy it. Thanks so much for commenting and keep on griddln' brother.

I did Udon Noodles once. I'll definitely do them again. I boiled mine on the stove and overcooked them. So they were really doughish. No Bueno. I'll probably do them like you did next time. I've still got some Lomien Noodles I have to try. But my son wants to do them in his Wok. Then some fried rice I haven't tried on the BS. But my son has done it in his Wok. So it'll probably be done that way again. Good Vid. 🍻

Someone else commented to just soak them in hot water while the griddle warmed up. I think I'll try that next.

Some may say broken noodles just make them easier to eat😊 You can also briefly soak the noodles in a bowl of hot water to loosen them up.

I saw that afterwards. Definitely going to try that next time. Thanks Bobbi!

Great video and cook as always Johnny. I've used these noodles as well after seeing Todd Toven do them. I liked them but then saw another video (Cooking with Crazy Pop I believe) where he used chicken-flavored ramen noodles. He cooked them traditionally, then drained the water, added the seasoning and moved them to the griddle to use in his stir fry. I tried that and it was a game changer! More flavor and easier to deal with than the Udon noodles in my opinion. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the suggestion Michael I will need to try that. I've seen crazy pops videos and he does good work so it doesn't surprise that he came up with this. Thanks for watching

I wonder if soaking in chicken or beef stock would add even more flavor

@@davidstouffer6561 that's a great idea. I'm sure it would absorb some of it. Now I need to try that lol.

Johnny - Like your way of cooking -- easy meals that are tasty. I think if you add some shaved ginger to would add a lot of flavor to this dish. You can just peel a piece of ginger with a spoon and keep in a baggie in the freezer. When you need some ginger just shave off a bit while still frozen and keep the remainder in the freezer for next time. Thanks.

I never see anyone doing what I'm about to recommend, so maybe I'm wrong ...but I have foil pans I throw over veggies or potatoes and it almost acts like a grill lid and steams veggies like you're using a steamer on the stove top. Anyone? I know they sell expensive food domes, but the foil pan ...cheap and works. But I should also say I LOVE your videos and all the comments ...my kids walk by me on the computer and laugh at what a grill-nerd I am.
@JohnnyBrunet
@JohnnyBrunet 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Don I'm glad you like the videos. And yes I totally agree about the foil pans, you could easily use them for steaming. I've also used them to shallow fry stuff on the griddle or just hold things hot. They are perfect for multiple things and make clean up easy.

Those “expensive” food domes only cost about $12 and they last a lifetime. Better results and better investment than keep buying foil pans.
