I get more out of this kind of sermons than any of the modern day preaching. When I listen to C. H. Surgeon. I go filled and nourished. When I go or listen to preachers who bounce around in the Bible, shout and tell I leave empty. I couldn't even begin to tell you what was preached. I leave empty. I like this and I like R.C. Sproul and John Barnett DTBM.

Same. I think “if only I could find a new church…” but know there is no perfect church these days. I get frustrated during a sermon when the preacher is reading scripture and only reads a small portion and not the whole section for context sake. That’s how deception starts…. Leaving out the whole truth.

I feel the same. There is no perfect church it's true, but its actually REALLY hard to find one where the whole truth is preached....and to experience His Holiness. I started listening to Spurgeon over 2 years ago and I'm amazed how God is still using His faithful servant Spurgeon. I also like Sproul, too!

I love these sermons too, also CS Lewis, great listens as well. HB Charles and Joby Martin are a couple modern I enjoy, expository preaching is where its at for me. but for sure Spurgeon was a one of kind.

I watch Dr John MacArthur at Grace Community Church and I still watch Dr Charles Stanley's sermons on In Touch. Dr Stanley was called home at age 90 about 2 years ago.

I particularly like the part where you said “toiling for wealth as if this world was all we have”. Since last year when I encountered the Holy Spirit, I lost interest in worldly riches and just want to give everything I earn away to support others. This sermon has also invigorated me, I attend church but everyone just seems to be more interested in money or career than the Holy Spirit. I am really blessed by this sermon, please upload more.
