Would be nice if that little lock pin was a mini mag pin instead of having to mess around with that little hitch pin. Would be a nice optional upgrade

Looks like the hole where the magpin goes in is oddly shaped, kind of oval. Any chance the holes would line up on other racks such as Rogue?

Yes they are oval shaped. Distance between the pin that goes through the rack and the hole for the magpin is 4” on center
