Not only is it easier for a lot of people to access youtube, but I'd love to come back and watch them all again, and add them to playlists for future stressful days. Hi Griffin! I’m a zoology student and I loved the stream, but I wanted to let you know how crabs and insects are connected. Crabs and insects are both arthropods meaning they are invertebrates that have an exoskeleton, a segmented body, and jointed appendages. It appears that Blathers is afraid/freaked out by all arthropods (not just insects).

I bet the japanese have a commonly used word for creepy crawlies so whenever games have "insects" categories they often include non insect creatures. Pill bug, tarantula, centipede etc are often in the "bug" category in the west but hermit crabs might fall in or out of this category in other cultures.

It’s frustrating because they put a lot taxonomic effort into the fossil section of the museum, but not the insects and fish section. However animal crossing has been one of those games that foster my interest in wildlife and science and I do appreciate that knowing it’s doing the same for others.
