I’ve been watching how to smoke Tails and came across this video. I watched a friend cook them like this. I’m confused when you said cook a little longer until nice and translucent…. What was meant by that? (11:50)

If I do this on a pellet grill what temp would you recommend to grill at and then smoke at?

Pellet grills can’t get up that high, so if grilling, you’re going to want to be 500-600. If smoking, drop to 275.
