One of favorite stories about Bobby Heenan is: Someone from the office called Bobby's house and his wife answered. The caller asked "My I speak to The Brain please?" and Bobby's wife said, "You're speaking to the brain. If you want the a$$hole, he's not home right now.".

I worked out with Nick Kozak at hanks gym in Houston Texas when I lived there. At 71 years old he could squat 315 lbs and not overly muscular. He loved to surf and watch wrestling and encouraged me to give it a shot. He took me and a friend of mine to the cauliflower alley club reunion in Dallas back when red bastain was around. We went there and sat in a room with mic foley, bill mercer, al snow, Rick Steiner, Eddie Gilbert, the putsky (spelling) family, King Kong Bundy, skandor akbar when he was alive. They treated me like one of the boys and had the time of my life. Never needed or asked for an autograph. Kept the memory in my heart...

When I was watching WWF back when I was a kid, Jesse Ventura, Jim Cornette but mostly Bobby was who entertained me the most. I would tune in to hear these guys more than anything else. 3 years ago, when Locked Down I got curious. I knew many Wrestlers I admired passed like Henig, Bulldog and some others but I thought to myself...."What happened to Bobby". When I looked and caught up with what had gone on, I was shocked, saddened beyond words really. I saw how he was post 2007 when things were in Remission, but even that pales into insignificance compared to how he looked near the end. He must have suffered so badly for 15 years. I had to pay my respects. Years too late. But RIP Mr Heenan and thank you for your entertainment Sir.

Bobbys best work was in the AWA in the 70s. Go onto youtube and watch his weasel suit match with Greg Gagne and youll hear audience heat the likes of which the WWE will never see. By the time Bobby became widely known in the WWE he was much less active in the matches and was just a mouthpiece. One of the all time greats.

Legally, it doesn't matter how old you are to own a home or car or whatever. The difficulty is getting a bank to accept the contract. Just try getting a checking account at 12 without a co-signer. The hoops I had to go through to do this were enormous. And all because of my age. It didn't matter that I had a cashflow and thousands of dollars.
