Wow, i could play this all day ! Only thing they should adjust a little is the upgrades during missions imo. They should feel a little more impactful instead of just giving you 0.5% attack speed, you know what i mean?

0.5% to 1 to 1.5% attack speed *per level*. Same with health (2, 6, and whatever came after that), and then there were elemental and physical damage upgrades that did similar scaling. That means the earlier you get them, the better, because you're getting a % increase that improves as you're leveling up. Still not huge upgrades, but with the 1.5% you've got a 15% increase after having it for 10 levels.

I like your channel so much but some of your choices are so annoying lol. Camera is zoomed out by default, you zoom way in, then take tons of damage from behind for the *exact* reason you even stated outloud- you can't see behind you to see what's coming. The cranes weren't a problem with DPS, they were a problem with you intentionally handicapping your situational awareness. Just... infuriating to watch sometimes lol.

I hate it when games do meaningles upgrades like you did 10 damage, used 50 feathers for 2 upgrades and now you deal 11 damage, also the buffood i. Your base, a hit cost you 5hp and the food would prevent 10% damage? So 0.5??? Witchfire has the same issue, enemy hits for like 60 damage, health upgrades give you 6 hp even if you focus on hp only the game will NEVER allow you to tank 1 extra hit and sice potions are fixed value instead of % all upgrades are entirely useless lol

Love these type of game loops, and I love the stylization. I'll def be wish listing this. I'd also highly recommend Risk of Rain 2 for anyone that likes stacking skills and kills. There isn't any real meta progression per se, but you do unlock new items in game and skills for the survivors.

You a game dev? Have you ever made a character creation scene? It's not as easy as it looks and then requires you to do double the work in game, dialog has to be neutral or done for masculine and feminine, animations have to be neutral, or done for masculine, feminine. I'm gonna guess you've never actually done these things.

I personally don’t have a problem with female protagonists. Women do exist after all and chances are that some of them would take up professions that are traditionally male dominated. My only reservation (if any) beyond the gameplay itself (which isn’t my preferred genre) is that the character has too slim a build to be wielding a greatsword so effortlessly. You think she’d be much more buff. However, given that this is a fantasy game (where characters could be magically enhanced or equipment magically light), there is much room for suspension of disbelief.

Realistically nobody is interested in indie games that dont even have a release date. Nobody wants to say oh that looks cool let me go pick it up and oh its coming soon whatever that means. Now i have another 20 dollar game on my wishlist that comes out and i get an email and go eh im already playing something and forget its ever there.
