Correction: I say in the video that Angel is Spike's sire. This is actually incorrect. In the season two episode "School Hard", Spike refers to Angel as his sire. This sort of serves as the introduction to that term because Xander asks what "sire" means. However, this was later retconned in season five. I'll see you in a few years when I remake this 🐀

It's not retconned per say, but the usage of it is. Vamps often refer to the sires of their sires as their... Sire. I think they also refer to the master in this way when talking about Angle, Dru and Spike - since he sired Darla, who sired Angel, Who blah blah blah.

It's always nice to find more people who appreciate the early 2000s graphics style. It really was a nice middle ground of advancing from the polygonal figures of the 5th Generation of gaming but not almost wholly realistic like what we got in the later half of the 7th and 8th generation of gaming. I understand that the standard of gaming will never go back to this old school style but I hope that in the indie scene there will be software that'll come out and be able to make games that look like PS2 graphics.

Buffy really was something special. I did indeed enjoy watching this and going, "That happened in the show! And I remember it!" It really was meant to be a high school story (unsurprising). And while the show continued to be enjoyable and produce absolutely delights like Silence and Once More With Feeling, it was so clear that conceptually, it was meant to be about these characters in high school.

After merrily posting this and going to bed I realized, staring at my ceiling, that the silent episode is in fact named Hush. I'm a fake fan.
