I was a teenager in Minneapolis MN when Son of Sam was in the news. I still remember my dad sitting in his chair, reading his newspaper. He was a true crime fan (which is where I get it from). Little did I know I'd only have 5 more years with him. He died of cancer. 💔💔

It's awesome how you two can cram so much pertinent info, such detail, into a 19-20 minute video. I'm proud for and of you! I'd just turned 11 a few days before they caught Berkowitz, and even in northeastern Kentucky, the spree had been covered on local TV news. It wasn't until years later with the Waco ATF/Branch Davidians coverage, that local news began each broadcast with the latest update like they did with Berkowitz.

I was in high school at the time, and I lived in northern New Jersey right outside of New York City and I will tell you it was scary beyond description. Everybody was pretty scared and not that many people that I knew stayed out at night really good documentary and just brings chills and scary memories back, but I’m glad he was caught, I hope he never leaves prison. Thank you for another excellent documentary.

I remember there was a Netflix series called "The sons of sam" a couple of years ago that had a compelling argument that Berkowitz did not act alone. So, those people who also did the murders are still out there if they are not already dead.

@thiscorrosion900

Yeah, uh.....it's pure speculation. The evidence pointed to Berkowitz being the sole killer. There is some evidence that David may have done other violent crimes, or attempted thus, several years before the shootings, but, much of that was from his own alleged confessions or commentary, which is dubious to a massive degree.

I lived on Warburton Ave, down the block from the Carrs, down the hill from where Berkowitz lived. They’ve change the name and number of the building. He didn’t do it alone. Why the different composites and why the mysterious deaths of the Carrs.

@@mannygrossman , really? Funny how all the composites were different. Funny how some looked like the Carr brothers. No way he did it alone. I’ve watched every doc on the son of Sam murders. You probably believe Oswald shot Kennedy from all those angles with one rifle too. Try critical thinking. Common sense used to aid in that but since it ain’t common anymore 🤷🏽‍♀️
