The Atlas Cheetah C was in development fase during this time of the conflict. The Mirage F1 CZ primary tasking was air superiority. The Mirage F1 AZ primary tasking was ground attack. Mirage iiiCZ were CAS or multi role offensive. Impala MB 326K was tasked with ground support. Lastly the SA 330B Puma was rapid deployment of troops ( usually SF, Paratrooper or 32 Battalion) as well as CASAVAC or S&R. I’m a veteran & was there.

This was fantastic and in keeping with the finest traditions of GR! Perhaps Cap can take a load off once in a while and share the burden a bit. The ammount of content that that man makes (I'm sure he gets help, but still) boggles the mind, and I can only see a benefit in letting the other talented GR members make some of the content, leaving the dear leader free for planning more ambitious campains and videos, as well as letting him get his beauty sleep (lord knows he could use it). I know this was only supposed to be a stopgap, one off, kind of thing, but honestly, I don't think it would be a bad idea to decentralize a bit.

just to give some perspective on what the SADF was up against SA had 12 multi role fighters.... cuba and Angola had 96 multi role fighters... SA could not afford to loose it's fighters and the Angolan air defence was one of the best of the time with the new Russian SA 8....SA could not send up many fighters at once and had to use them as sparingly as possible.... think the guys where there can correct me if i'm wrong but i dont think you'd ever see a flight of 4 mirages crossing the boarder together 2 ship only combat missions

I LOVE hearing all that music from Ace Combat 6!!!! I’ve always been I Pressed with how well Ace Combat music sets the tone for a mission. MAN Ace Combat 6 is AMAZING

@@Galm1 I actually think the missions are light years ahead of what we got for AC7, it's just the cutscenes/script are horrible. AC3 is the worst one in the numbered series.

AC6 has some of the best gameplay in the entire series. Most players agree. It’s the cutscenes they don’t like. I used to feel that way but when I actually paid attention it drew me in despite its campiness at times. I think e can all agree Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies is the best ;)

@@Mobius118 yep, 04 and Zero for me. AC5 is ranked just below those two in my opinion. It was great to have proper jets against jets rather than fighting drone after drone we got for AC7. It's just a bit of a hollow experience.

in bomber role the mirage would come in low and then before the target climb steeply and lob the bomb onto target serious balls.....there's case of a bucaneer expending all it ordanence in group troop support, but a tank was still approaching the troops, so they went on a combat run with nothing to shoot at the tank... luckily they got scared and bugged out... pilot was awarded a medal for his actions

I think you guys stay in afterburner too long after take off. Granted it’s been over 30 years since I flew a T-38, I recal that you came out of burner as son as the gear was up. (Or maybe it was the flaps )

Keep in mind that normal non-expedited ops would warrant pulling off throttle sooner. We were in a time sensitive situation and normally we only have 90 minutes to takeoff, complete the mission, then land. Higher throttle settings are a bit of a necessity.

In 30:08 ~ 30:18 seconds , oh my god ! This Mirage 2000C's pilot insufficient strain ! So, he is fast crash to the enemy air force base.................... And 31:59 ~ 32:21 seconds, after the Mi-24's propeller was hit by the F-5E, actually only Mi-24 can fly smoothly and unharmed, F-5E crashed directly..................... Is this too unreasonable !
