@@grimreapers For what it is worth, I appreciate the cloud spotting and slightly relaxed banter. All of the haters forget that at it's core this is a game. The point is to have a good time and pretend to do some things we all wish we could do in reality but for what ever reason can't. The great thing about that is that we can have a good time, not fear for our lives, and enjoy ourselves. You guys embody that and I appreciate it.

Next time CAP, make sure you turn down the HUD and HMCS brightness during the night. You never run it that bright because you can't look through it. It should be visible but not over bright as you have it. It washes out everything and you can't see.

focus more on cpu and ram for dcs. dcs is more dependant on them rather than your gpu

this actually looks really cool, alot of it reminds me of how the dynamic campaigns work in Falcon 4.0 / BMS. The package numbers, the take-off times, talking to ground controllers, even INS. really cool video. speaking of the INS no idea how the thing you were using worked with the backup INS in the F16 but to use that you have to change the C & I from UFC to backup for it to use that back-up INS panel all other INS stuff is programmed through a data cartridge before mission which you can edit from the UFC which currently as you know isn't modelled. Worth Taking a look into Falcon 4.0 / BMS if you ever get the time, really well done for a mod for a sim made in 1998

Aha! This looks amazing! Thanks for making these amazing videos, Grim. What bugs me is most people don't use the EOR Ramps in DCS. People should really start getting into taxing on to them which means you are also clear of the taxi ways so you can do your checks.

It comes down to local war-specific procedures. This mission wasn't in peace time so there probably (most likely) were specific procedures for taxi and runwya lineup

Very Nice Hooah! Dam wish I was flying with you’ll, I just got the F14 and the Nevada Map. I’ve all the maps now also the Carrier, FC3 and my Hornet. Now I just need to get the A10 C II and the F16 Viper. Ounce I get my Rudder Pedals I may get the WW II Planes and Maps. Then I need the Modern Vehicles Pack. Takes time and a lot of money. Can’t get over how much these Toys has gone up, and it’s just not for the PCs it’s everything and everyone and because we’re paying it then they may never go back down in price 😡👎🏼

Great gameplay but jesus all that radio chatter and the endless pops was hard work and tbh by the end I was getting so frustrated with it. If it was just one channel between your squad then that's fine but when both talking over each other you can't even follow it all.

It’s a type of mission you download on the user files. It creates a mission and you only have so much to spend on forces for your side and you nominate what aircraft you want to fly Once you do the mission you load the mission briefing into the file and it will generate you next mission according to how the out come was from you previous flight. It has been awhile sense I have tried it so I would expect it to be better these days.

I saw you do a similar maneuver about a year ago, but can you do a proper Pugachev's Cobra Maneuver in DCS? If so, can you do it like it was shown in the Top Gun film? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pugachev%27s_Cobra I tried it but it is a struggle considering all the needed variables. It would be really cool if you shot him down too and did it with some cinematic music 😎

Realistically you want to have more radar and weapons range rather than hiding yourself. You're not flying alone like in random DCS matches, you're part of a huge integrated network of fighters, awacs, gci, ewr etc.
