Cap, the canopy issue is kinda funny since my actual job is maintenance on Ejection Systems. So, the canopy close switch must be held for about 2 seconds after its fully down. It rotates the torque tube, locking paw and canopy hooks to fully latch then the yellow handle (spider handle) can be closed. The spider handle is basically a safety device to prevent accidental opening of the canopy. You can in real life forcefully close the spider handle but to get it back open you have to almost break the handle to open it again.

That movie was filmed in Las Vegas, New Mexico. My woman and I go there every Valentines Day. The painted building with the cowgirl mural is still there. In the final scene the brothers are sitting on a bench in a park. The park is the main plaza. A contractor from our winter home in Magdalena, New Mexico ended up with that bench and it is now in the patio area our favorite (and only) bar in Magdalena.

@MrScrofulous2 жыл бұрын
@@tcox4508 I don't get anything from the TV. As far as military campaigns go, they are doing terribly. Being entirely incapable of conventional warfare, taking ground with infantry and leaving buildings intact for future use, they have resorted to firing 1000 artillery shells an hour to basically obliterate Ukrainian villages, towns and cities, not bothering to subjugate or control the populace, rather practicing genocide and treating any captured, whether civilian or combatant so badly that fleeing has become the only sensible option. Keep in mind that the tubes firing that 1000 rounds/hr are all gonna needing to be replaced or risk failure very soon, just as the first MLRS until are arriving. That's why the big push now. They would be no match for the disciplined and well-equipped/supported forces of NATO/Finland/Sweden etc. They are truly orcs, turning Ukraine to Mordor. The brain drain on Russia is getting so bad that it won't be long before but closes it's borders to out-going Russians, and that will be a significant turning point in how the war is perceived in Russia. Depending on how old you are, you may not recall what used to happen at Checkpoint Charlie .

I just remembered that in 1984, the current Denver International Airport was still just a field "halfway between Denver and Nebraska..." the ACTUAL Denver International at that time was Stapleton and it was very close in to town (and completely obliterated and gone today) I-70 used to go underneath some of the north/south runways... that was one of the concerns - not terrorism, but an accident could damage it... that and urban sprawl, and having an aircraft go down in the city - so they moved the new airport 15 miles north and east of the old one...
