The beginning of broken bottles really reminds me of the faction from san jose. I was in seattle one time on tour with a band i was in and we were looking for skateparks. Found some people building one under one of the freeways out there. Good chance it was monk or he was involved. This was back in around 2008 or 2010. Never heard of this band till today and its really good. Sounds like true skate rock as i know it. That old thrasher tape comp kinda stuff.
