Just have this tyres for 1 day and theres more grip but much more noise than the stock ones. Anyway its a bit too early for a good evaluation need to have some more kms/miles on it!

Great video, mate! I’m actually wanting a pair of these for the rear of a 640hp naturally aspirated Holden Monaro I have here in the states. :-) waiting for them to offer my size (275/40R18) as they did with the precious generation of R888.

not going to happen. the 275/35zr18 r888r is the closest you’ll ever get. that side wall of a 35 aspect ratio is pretty tall as is, either go with or stop being stupid.

A bit off topic but - have you ever used an open flash tablet for the FRS,86,BRZ - Maybe a future video. There have been talk about the ECUtech system but thats up to $1600 to get it tuned on the dyno

I’ve used one before. I really don’t rate using off the shelf tunes though.

Im thinking of getting one for my birthday on October as its supposed to fix the torque dip, Im getting the idea of how it works - A video on using modified off the shelf tunes would be good getting the best out of it. Might take a lot of your time to organize :)

Hmmmm they don’t “fix” the torque dip. But they can improve it slightly with the right tune. Only way to get rid of it entirely is boost.

If these tires hook for you..... you need more whp. They don’t hook in any thing more than 500-600 whp. If you are under that, these are great. If you are over and want to go around corners, you are in the wrong vehicle. If you have more whp than that and want to go fast in a straight line, get Mickey Thompson’s

Nope. Just he setup of the wheels. 15x7 with +25 offset.

For track work yes. For street driving definately not. In these size these could be ok but at 235 and up toyos are very very noisy and they are hard and uncomfortable. Hence I would not drive these on the road and for the track i would opt for a full slick. For the road I would eihter go for advan neova 08R or michelin ps4 and ps4s if available in my size. Both are very capable tyres with lots of grip but they also work as an every day tyre.

Georgios Ioakeimidis yea I was back then, bought some R888rs and they not only made less noise but lasted damn near forever even on my daily driver. Superb grip too
