I remember when I was 13, heard this song on tumblr during a time when I was trying to find music that related to the feelings of depression/anxierty that overtook most of my teenage years. 11 years later, and the song is just as amazing and really highlights how thankful I am to still be alive today, and in a better place.

This music, it's harmony, the lyricism, rhythms. It's really fresh. If it's derivative of anything, it's difficult to discern because they've melded their influences into something quite new. If Jay-Z gives props, you know it appeals to a wide cross section. And their vids are delightfully trippy. Well played GB, well played.

I just realised I saw this years ago and I was soooo not into it. I was really into Pop Punk and Emo bands at the time. I heard some of their later stuff and without knowing it I fell in love with them and this song in particular.
