I love your videos. I wish I could just once see that beautiful country in person. But I know I can't. So I watch yours. I'm fighting cancer. Been fighting for 2 years. So I know I can never see what you see. Thank you for your beautiful videos so people like me can at least see a little bit of God's country. I can only imagine what it is like in person. Thank you sir. Looking forward to your next adventure.

Nice to hear from you Peter. Really enjoyed talking to you and Wendy. I can't believe you saw all that wildlife after I was done with my hike. Just for your info, most of my videos have information about the location of the hikes. But some, like this one, will only say Yellowstone Ecosystem. The reason for that is because the hike is outside of the Yellowstone boundary and with the possibility of de-listing the grizzly bears and opening up trophy hunting, I don't want to give away locations. I love seeing all the wildlife in God's beautiful creation. If you really want to know the location, you can send me an email at StanMillsWildlifeArt@gmail.com.

Another wonderful video, many thanks Stan. On side note did you ever find out why there is so much discarded wire in Yellowstone. I’ve called several different numbers, but I haven’t been able to reach a human being, and emails can take a long time to get answered if at all.
@StanMills2 жыл бұрын
Here are my thoughts. I notice and see first hand research projects done all over the park. I see they don’t come back and clean up their mess and they don’t take down their signs. I am also guessing that a lot of the wire is left over from the days of fencing for horses and traps for animals. This is back before there was much regulation. I see a lot more wire than I put in videos. Another thing I see a lot of is those aluminum foil party balloons. One year ago I saw 4 of them on this hike alone. There must be thousands of them polluting the park.
@johncarlo26302 жыл бұрын
@@StanMills Thank you for your in depth response Stan. It’s so sad that our last great places are being polluted and being done by people who should know better. I used to bring a plastic bag with me when I hiked Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, but I literally packed out a fraction of what I saw. So sad 😞. Perhaps it’s time for stricter regulations and an educational campaign.

@StanMills2 жыл бұрын
I don't because I have never done horseback trips. But it seems like anywhere would be good. For photography, the northern portion of the park is more open and gives you a good opportunity for wildlife photography.

Those four bears together were a sow and three cubs, correct? Looked like second year, and she'll be throwing them out this year probably. That's a dangerous age, kinda like the young men at a bar having imbibed to much beer. They are the most likely to get their testosterone all in a boil.

It may look like there is wildlife around every corner. But I had to hike the same area twice plus add an unpublished grizzly that I took on this hike a couple years ago to get enough wildlife to make the video. You can see much more wildlife from your car. You will probably see wildlife around every corner from your car.
