My friend of over 30 years passed away a few weeks ago at only 53 years old. We would send one another music all the time. He sent this song to me just days before his passing. It now takes on a whole different meaning. I’ve listened to it probably a thousand times since that day.

To the people saying that the drumming was stolen from 15 Step by Radiohead. As a hardcore Radiohead fan, I am here to disprove this. The tempo for this song is 6/4, while 15 step is 5/4. It just wouldn't fit. This song has its influences, but its a straight original. I applaud Grizzly Bear for making my day.
@flippensweet35 жыл бұрын
True, you can't steal anything in music excluding lyrics because a song can never be played the same ever, there will be a audible microscopic difference in every note ever played ever.. the only reason it sounds the same is because the human ear doesn't know the difference.
