Taiwan looks to be one of the great places to go visit. The people are clearly special. That surf don't look half bad either. I understand there has been a serious drought there. Hopefully the storms bring to rain to ease the pain. And hopefully no damage or problems.

I went to Taroko a couple of years ago. They're always reinforcing the sides of the cliffs with concrete to stop rockfall. The next day I ended up hitchhiking all the way through the gorge - I was picked up by an absolute madman of a driver who got me exactly where I needed to go. It was great fun.

Must be quite a while now when you did this tour. Right now everything is shut down and you need to wear a mask when you leave your property. Yes you also need to wear a mask in your car even if you drive alone and Taroko and mostly all tourist hiking/beaches whatever is closed.

You can find Carrefour in all the large towns and cities in Taiwan 😉 We often find French supermarkets around the world. Also Decathlon is in Taiwan.
