The Acolyte has finally concluded after seven long weeks! And it was just as awful as it was anticipated to be. Definitely the Worst Disney Plus Star Wars Series by far. And now we have the final Disney Star Wars ShiIIs defend video for The Acolyte. It's crazy because the people who love this show... REALLY love this show. As you will see in the video, they go to incredible lengths to Defend it. Insisting they are not paid by Disney (false), Going after real Star Wars Fans, Dismissing the fact that it breaks canon, claiming it's better than the prequels and EU, Defending DEI, and BEGGING for a season 2. @@Philthorn Agreed. People criticize the dialogue, but Star Wars has always had wooden dialogue. George even referred to himself, as "the king of wooden dialogue." He's aware and embraces it. "I don't like sand" is better than, "Somehow, Palpatine returned." People criticize the CGI, which is fair, to a point. The Prequels used more miniatures than the Originals did and TPM had less VFX than TFA. They still used a bunch of Practical Effects in the Prequels, which is often overlooked by the haters. People criticize the lightsaber duels, which they call overly choreographed, among other things. I'd rather have the spectacle of the PT duels over the baseball bat style of the ST. Any other thoughts?

It's one thing to have an off spin show or movie to tell it's own story individually. But when you're trying to tie the show or movie into the established lore, you end up breaking it than fixing it. True. It's quite interesting, indeed. Defense points also repeat and those are just as disconnected from the shows themselves as they were before. Almost as if those defenses serve as an ultimate shield from criticism, that is given, no matter the situation over and over again. Just wonder, how long it will go until it all crumbles under the weight of lies and deception. Personally, I see the whole situation as an episode of 'Seconds from Disaster' show. The only thing, that lacks is a dictor telling to unravel the clues and find out at which moment the franchise started to collapse and count down those 'final seconds from disaster'.
