Oh my, I can’t wait to try the Chaffle! Btw, an easy hack to clean the waffle iron is heavily wet a paper towel or two, depending on iron size or dimensions. For yours, I would use two for the extra thickness. Lay flat in waffle iron and close for a cook cycle on high. Once you return, the paper towel will be dry and the wetness steam cleans the appliance. Use the now dry paper towel to wipe down off the moisture and debris that has loosen. Rinse paper towel of debris and repeat once more if needed. Unplug and leave open to air dry before storing away. Easy/effortless and can be done while multitasking in the kitchen. Another way to contain leaks from the iron is put a plate or baking sheet under the waffle iron. Otherwise, it has been a pleasure watching your channel the past few years. The cultural diversity, family values, and beautiful family makes me excited for every video. Take care!❤️😁

Sylvia Amundson 👍🏽 For the microwave, I use a glass bowl with water and a splash of vinegar. Then the whole steam clean and wipe method too😊
@joyum70384 жыл бұрын
Nyesha Harris For the vinegar? No, the smell dissipates once everything is dry. Just leave the microwave door ajar when you are done wiping so everything can completely dry. Good way to clean with common kitchen staples and without use of chemicals since these appliances handle our food. 👍🏽

Hello from Ontario, Canada! Just wanted to tell you, your family is wonderful. I started out watching Jamerill, and found you later and am hooked on your videos and story. I'm in my forties, and live alone with my closest family in Toronto, three and a half hours away. So watching you provides comfort in the sense of being around family while seeing all of your daily lives and adventures. Thank you for what you do! Stay safe, and healthy, and many blessings to your beautiful tribe!💗

Sarah, Mix the cheese in with the egg before you pour it into the waffle iron. The cheese is more evenly distributed and is on top and bottom. Helps keep it from getting too crispy on one side and too soggy on the other. Love me some chaffles. I have the mini waffle iron and my kids will sit and make a ton. We freeze them and toss them in the toaster. They are great with pizza toppings!

Aldi now has keto bread! It’s amazing. They have two types, I prefer the multi-seed. For tortillas, Tumaro’s brand is low carb. The carb count varies depending on the variety you choose. My favorites are multi-grain (3 net carbs) and white (5 net carbs). Also, Russel Stover has large variety of sugar free candy that helps me stay on plan. Thanks for continuing to share you keto tips!

Hello From Perth, Western Australia, I find that when the cheese is added with the egg mixture, one does not need to 'oil' the waffle maker or very little , as the fat from the cheese 'coats' the waffle sides. The cheese melting also causes the chuffle mixture to spread more. So this then dictates then how much cheese and eggs you add to the waffle-maker to reduce spillage. We make chuffles in a 'basket' waffle maker. Then, when the chuffle is cooked to our requirement we add a keto topping of sweet or savoury choice into the 'chuffle basket'. Presentation is fantastic and SO scrumptious to taste!!! Like you, I love my chuffles that keep me chuckling in happiness until the next 'cooking' session to experiment with different food ingredient and topping chuffle combination!!.

I love crispy cheese eggs! Often in the mornings I'll add my "grease" butter, whatever you like, then a pinch of cheddar cheese, let it melt, then crack my egg over it. I like to break my yolk. That's my way. The cheese get's crispy as it cooks the egg. I scramble the egg first sometimes, too, but that takes effort! Never thought to use the waffle maker! (although I have used it for tater tots! yum!)

Yes, tator tots squished in a waffle maker are delicious! Not Keto though. We always added crushed up graham crackers to our chocolate shakes growing up. I thought it made them taste delicious.

Made exactly the same way. But she would add a little malt too it. Yummy. Do curbside pickup for your eggs! Most grocery stores in my area have that option and then you don’t even have to go into the store, and you won’t be tempted to grab other items that aren’t needed. Also, it really is so convenient. You can do whatever you’re going out for and just stop by the curb for your eggs on your way home!

When I make chicken salad I put grapes, chopped walnuts or pecans, celery and apples maybe a little red onion with miracle whip or mayonnaise(Hellman’s). Sometimes I put salted sunflower seeds in it also.But since I watched you tonight I may start putting curry powder in it. I love Big Mac salad also. I can’t have bread so when I make a cheeseburger for my son, I make myself a Big Mac salad. 😊

Im on Keto (low carbs) as well. You should mix the cheese into the eggs before adding to the waffle iron. May I recommend the fathead pizza crust. I make this and use it as pizza crust, pita bread replacement and as a garlic bread substitute. You can add any herbs and seasonings before cooking them. Add italian seasoning to it and watch the wow factor. My 8 kids loves it. Enjoy!

I love the quest chips and that price was amazing. I usually pay 3.99 per bag 🤦♀️ I usually just roughly crunch up the chips and use half a bag per time to top a taco salad and it tastes like doritos. They are great for nachos too but I usually put nacho toppings down and then chips on side as they can tend to get soggy if you don't eat immediately.

I LOVE LOVE Chips so much!! I have been eating low carb for over a year and have to have an occasional chip here and there! One thing I do that helps as a substitute is; I take a baking sheet and lay out parchment paper and put down about a half dollar size amount of shredded cheese (mozzarella is my favorite) and bake them in the oven on 400 degrees until they’re mostly brown and crispy and voila! Cheese chip!! The best with salsa and guacamole in my opinion!! 😊

I love the quest chips! I've been buying them directly from Quest for years and I'm glad to see the brand making it into grocery stores. Their unflavored protein powder is great for cooking and easy to add to food to bump up the protein level without changing the taste. It thickens stuff up BIG TIME, though.
@Diana_the_green_dragon4 жыл бұрын
You should try and see if you could buy eggs directly from farmers if you can since you need a larger number of them. They will last longer since they would be fresher. Eggs are.a really healthy option and the best thing is the good nutritional value. Cutting down on carbs will be good in the long term and it helps you kids grow healthier. Your teens also need extra protein so its a win win for everybody
