Mold is terrible too. We lived in the UK amongst moldy military housing. And I was an Environmental Remediation Specialist prior to becoming a wife. I tore apart moldy houses for a living. Probably explains my poor health now. 🥴

I was ecstatic to find your channel! We are avid hunters and we process our own meat after harvesting. We have 4 acres and are trying to start a small homestead. I am in the process of cleaning up our foods list to include more homegrown and organic foods, whole foods recipes, and foods from responsible and reliable sources in order to avoid chemicals and preservatives. So far it looks like you are what I've been looking for because I have only been able to find one or two of those aspects at a time in the other channels I watch. May I ask what area of the country you are in? We are in Alabama so I struggle to find relevant content for my area sometimes.

I canned peaches this week. With sale peaches. You will love it! Be sure to save the peels and pits for jelly. Or you can simmer them and make peach “juice” to add to tea. You can toss the peels in the freezer for when you are ready to make peach peel jelly. After making peach scrap jelly you can roast the pits and make extract but I know you said you aren’t making extracts right now. The peach pit extract has an almond extract taste.

Good morning Rowes Rising. Great video as always What a pantry haul we had yesterday. There must have been at least a dozen bags of all kinds of stuff from WalMart and a few from the Farmer's Market. Both places were crazy. Some of that fresh corn is going to go well with my set of vintage corn skewers tonight - the one that look like ears of corn. Those corn skewers were handed down as a family heirloom by my grandfather. His favorite way of buttering an ear of corn was to roll it in a slice of buttered bread. The man said, "Only uncivilized folk eat their buttered corn by using toothpicks as the skewers. Y'all have a nice Sunday.

I love that! Thank you for sharing Richard! Corn is so expensive here right now😅

Yes it has gone up and we aren’t used to buying meat from the store- so that’s a big increase. I’m still waiting on my azure order as well $$$. I used to spend $6-800 a month and I’d say I’m up to $1000 some months- mostly because I’m buying a little extra to build and reach that year supply goal. Prices keep going up and I don’t know how we will afford it- I’m already super frugal with everything😅🥴
